Battalion Champs Osaka Rebels rumored to sign

One of the biggest surprises and upsets of Season 2 was the Osaka Rebels defeating The Outliers for the Battalion Championships at Coup de Grace. The two teams battled for the first time in an impromptu match that ended in a first time ever time limit draw. Their second encounter was on DTW soil in Japan, where The Outliers unified the Fusion and Tornado Tag Team Titles at DTW's After Dark. They finally capped off the trilogy at Coup de Grace, where the Osaka Rebels won those Battalion beauts in a New York Street Fight.

Though they were not officialy signed under the Union Battleground banner, their DTW ties and Battleground Network partnership has led rumors to swirl that Takeuchi and Kawamata will be in the Battleground, ready to defend their gold.
