Battleground Network Prelim

Our Battleground Network Preliminary Bout was one helluva way to kickoff the night. Blake Archer (3-2) squared up against Constantine Christos (0-0), with “The King of Canines” putting his GWP World Heavyweight Championship on the line! Christos tried to keep it competitive early on, but everything he tried to execute, Archer had an answer to. Blake was able to set the pace and keep control of the match off by meticulously countering with high impact maneuvers. Archer slowly wore Constantine down, and out of nowhere finished him off with a Silver Shot spear. Following the match, Christos needed assistance afterwords to exit the ring.

Winner: Blake Archer via pinfall (6:49)

Welcome to the Show

[The opening montage quickly races on the screen to match the tempo of Rob Scallon’s Sitar Metal jam. Footage of season two’s best and brightest shoot past, with the likes of Flash Kassidy, Maggie Chamberlain, Alex Kincaid, Finn Whelan, Emery Layton, Dick Devereaux, and finishing up with a slowed down tempo of every member of Salvation. The montage cuts and an aerial view of the Union Battleground ring with the Crown of the King Cobra logo painted in the center of the black canvas engulfs the view. Rocking out left of the main stage is Luke Knux and the Scumbag Society tearing up one of their singles from their newest album “Insomnia”. Camera angles change in rapid succession to spotlight some of the fans in the arena.]

[As Luke Knux shreds away and wraps up their set, a monstrous explosion of pyrotechnics illuminate the building. The crowd is on their feet in pandemonium as we shift gears and transitions over to the broadcast booth.]

Dante Reed - Ladies and gentlemen, we are live here in New Delhi, India at the Indira Gandhi Arena in front of a tumultuous crowd of 12, 206; and this is Union Battleground’s Crown of the King Cobra! I am your host, “The Doctor” Dante Reed and alongside me is my brother of broadcasting, the sultan of suplex, Sebastian Riggs!

Sebastian Riggs - Thank you for the introduction, Dante. Tonight, we have quite possibly the biggest show the Battleground has seen yet! We have three championship matches set, five superstar guests in the house, and a bevy of grudge matches on hand! And the wait is finally over!

Dante Reed - Right you are, Bas. Tonight, our main event of the evening features two top champions in their respective companies battling for the newly minted and highly coveted King Cobra Championship!

Sebastian Riggs - We’ve got the WWH World Champion taking on the Supreme XWA Champion for the Union Battleground King Cobra Championship. It’s crazy to believe, but it’s true! As you all should know by now, that the winner of that bout holds the title that guarantees them a Union Battleground Championship Match, anytime and anywhere! Like a true King Cobra, ready to strike at any time!

Dante Reed - Also, one of our headliners tonight also features two top champions squaring off in a One Night Only nontitle bout. I’m talking about Elysium World Champion SHIDO versus Union Battleground Champion Nemesis!

Sebastian Riggs - Big, big matchup right there. Two competitors who transcend this Earthly realm. If you remember, SHIDO visited the Battleground during the off-season Burning Hammer event and defeated our yearlong plus Trench War Champion Emery Layton! So there is no doubt that the Elysium World Champ deserves a match of this magnitude. And on the flip side, Nemesis and his crew Salvation have continued terrorizing the Battleground. I can’t wait to watch that one unfold.

Dante Reed - Our other headliner we have another incentive championship to decide as Viduus Morta, Axton Pierce, Kimitsu Zombie, and Alex Kincaid all battle it out for the War Horse Championship.

Sebastian Riggs - The War Horse Title is similar in vein, as the holder of this title has a guaranteed Trench War Title Match. Only two major differences though. One, which gives true meaning to the name War Horse, is that the title will be defended on EVERY event until it is cashed in. So that means someone here tonight could win the title and subsequently lose the War Horse Title before cashing in. And two, since the Trench War Championship has been known to be defended all over the world in foreign promotions, the War Horse Champion must announce their intent of cashing in, thus allowing Axel Graves the chance to guarantee to book the Trench War Champion in Union Battleground.

Dante Reed - Our third championship bout is between two teams that have gotten quite acquainted with each other. Battalion Champions The Outliers have defeated The Firing Squad twice now; once in the finals of the Battalion Tournament, And once more at L!GHTS OUT #18. However, those victories have been clouded in controversy.

Sebastian Riggs - The Firing Squad has been on the bad side of an officiating crew that seems to be incompetent of these tag matches. However, all of those nuances are thrown out of the window because tonight, these teams fight in a Ladder Match! One way or another, this rivalry ends here tonight. No excuses.

Dante Reed - Also on deck, we have a One Night Only bout as GWD American Justice Champion, Your Hero and Mine, Mark Storm takes on “The Fury” Tommy Crimson!

Sebastian Riggs - I don’t know what to make of this match, Dante. Honestly both men pose serious threats to each other, so my guess is this comes down to who can stay focused and who makes an eventual slip up. It could be something so minuscule that decides this one.

Dante Reed - We’ve also got a member of Salvation making his Union Battleground in-ring debut, as Ragnarok is set to face off with Flash Kassidy.

Sebastian Riggs - You know, Flash has been in the crosshairs of Salvation since his debut. He was able to easily handle Alexander Devin back at Relapse, and from there he continually mocked the group. Well the message was received because Ragnarok cost Kassidy a chance to be main eventing here tonight. It’s been a heated back and forth, and it all comes together tonight.

Dante Reed - Also, another member of Salvation will debuting as the mysterious “Executioner” is set to battle Johnny Vachon.

Sebastian Riggs - The Executioner was the person who put Camila Martinez and Sinister away for good. And since then, he has been playing mind games with Johnny Vachon. I don’t know if we’ll get to find out who this person under the hood is, and to be honest, I’m not sure that I want to know!

Dante Reed - Also on the card, we have a One Night Stand Battalion Match That has been buzzing all over social media. We’re talking about The Patron Saintes of Sass and Class versus Genevie Carlson and Felix Hartley.

Sebastian Riggs - No doubt, this has probably garnered more attention than any other bout tonight. Felix Hartley felt like she was being infringed upon, with her Ass, Class, and Sass signature catchphrase. She not only brought it upon herself to interrupt the show and lay down a challenge, but also brought along with her a very well known 4CW competitor Genevie Carlson as her partner. Sass and Class have been on a tirade proclaiming they deserve Championship opportunities, if they win here tonight, I don’t think there’s any doubt they earn one.

Dante Reed - And finally, our opening bout tonight is a One Night Stand contest between two foes who have had a bitter history between them but has never taken it inside the ring. Tonight that all changes as Joe Stanton takes on Michael Hayden!

Sebastian Riggs - A great opening bout here, Dante. Two champions finally settling the score, doesn’t get any better than that!

Dante Reed - And there you have it Folks, let’s switch gears and get ready for Stanton versus Hayden, it’s up next!

Setting the Bar

[The scene opens on a locker room somewhere within the backstage area with the camera filming the Scarlet Speedster sitting on a bench. Two championship belts sit on his lap and dressed for battle though Stanton’s focus is on the phone in his hand that looks like he’s scrolling through some pictures. The stone faced expression on his features and his signature sunglasses hide whatever his thoughts are on on what he’s looking at. Clarence briefly pops into the frame out of the corner and a barely audible “We’re rolling” is heard to alert Stanton.]

Joe Stanton - Crown of the Cobra King.

[Stanton says with a nod, stashing his phone and pushing off the bench and spinning up to face the camera proper and picking up his championships. The IJPW Death Crown Championship in one hand and the KAMIKAZE Pro Tag Team League Championship in the other, he bobs his head.]

Joe Stanton - So many professional wrestlers live and die by every win and loss, every win proves them to be the demi-god that they believe themselves to be. And, every loss shatters their reputation and forever tarnishes them to either themselves or to some jerkwad that thinks their opinion is what matters. They get so caught up in the trees they don’t see the woods, victories, defeats, they’re the steps, what’s really important is the journey that each of us are on. Every week, every two weeks, every three, whatever it is, we’re all provided more opportunities to further our journey and put down what we will be remembered for at the end of it all.

[The One Punch Man speaks quiet but passionately when he talks about the journey of a professional wrestler. He lifts up his right hand to adjust his sunglasses when he talks about seeing the trees through the woods.]

Joe Stanton - I love this industry and I mean more than just the fighting, everything involved in it, the traveling and the promotional work, meeting people that my work has reached and touched in some way. I love that I do what I love for a living. I know how fortunate I am to be in this type of position, going from the guy bumming it on friends’ couches to cheap motels to pretty much any hotel I want. I wouldn’t trade every night eating ramen or a can of tuna, every promoter that yanked my chain or screwed me on my payday. Because it all led to this, to who I am.

[Glancing down at the championships in his hands, Joe smiles when he talks about the facets of a professional wrestler’s life. He stifles a laugh when he talks about how far he’s come in his career, taking it in stride.]

Joe Stanton - And, tonight I’m going to do what I love. I’m going to perform with one of the best in the world. Win, loss, all I care about is the fight. We’re setting the bar for the rest, Hayden.

[Throwing the championship belts onto his shoulders the Scarlet Speedster walks out of shot to end the piece.]

Mike Dempsey - The following contest is a One Night Only Match And is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, standing 6’2” and weighing in at 225 pounds, from San Diego, California, representing the CWC SWA, he is the Sentinel Regional Television Champion, Michael Hayden!

♫

MY BODY’S READY

MY HEART’S ON FIRE

I’M GONNA PUSH IT OVER THE WIRE

♫

[“Fight to Survive” by Stan Bush plays and Michael Hayden steps out with the CWC Sentinel Regional Television Championship & BUDOKAN GAIJIN DREAM FIGHT Very Suave, Very Sophiscated Europe Championship around his waist. He saunters down to the ring with a swagger to him and he takes several quick strides up the steel steps before he enters through the ropes. Hayden unhooks the championships from around his waist and he climbs up the nearest turnbuckle to hold them up triumphantly.]

Mike Dempsey - And his opponent, standing 6’1” and weighing in at 235 pounds, from Chicago, Illinois, he is the IJPW Death Crown Champion, Joe Stanton!

♫

I WEAR MY SUNGLASSES AT NIGHT

SO I CAN SO I CAN

WATCH YOU WEAVE THEN BREATHE YOUR STORY LINES

AND I WEAR MY SUNGLASSES AT NIGHT

SO I CAN SO I CAN

KEEP TRACK OF THE VISIONS IN MY EYES

♫

[The thumping of the song and the darkening of the house lights cue the fans to put their hands together, clapping along with the tune as a blinding stage light creates a massive glare that blinds those in attendance and at home watching. When the stage light dims and some spotlights cast on the stage, Joe Stanton is there standing with his signature pair of sunglasses on and with the IJPW Death Crown and KAMIKAZE Pro Tag Team League Championships lifted high over his head. He looks out at the fans and he pumps his fist a few times in rhythm with the song before he slaps the title belts and slings them over his shoulder. He enters the ring quickly and he throws his jacket to the side, Joe circles the ring pointing to the fans in attendance before taking center stage to hoist the championships up again till his song ends.]

[Stanton and Hayden come to the center of the ring at the referee’s beckoning and the rules of the match are gone over with both men. They each give a little nod to the referee and he calls for the bell.]

[DING!]

[Hayden opens the match by slapping the taste out of the Scarlet Speedster’s mouth so hard that he stumbles back several steps.]

Dante Reed - Wow! You could hear that all the way from over here!

Sebastian Riggs - Despite being something of a dream match on the surface, there is some bad blood between these two from their storied history together. Some of which Stanton went over in his promotional material leading into this match.

Dante Reed - Neither man is a stranger to CWC Sixth City Pro’s owner, Kim Coulter, either! At one point there was speculation flying in the rumor mill that Hayden and Coulter were an item. Similarly Stanton and Coulter were engaged at one point!

Sebastian Riggs - But it goes even deeper than just a girl for either of these two men, if you ask me. Both men are renown for being highly competitive and Hayden’s been known for at times being one that doesn’t like competition for being the best in the business. I think on some level he might take exception to Stanton’s own potential claim of being better.

[Touching where the blow landed to check for blood, Stanton scoffs and gets a devilish grin as he responds with a left hand that knocks the other man off balance too. The Iron Man comes back with some forearms he connects with and Stanon responds with left’s, the two trying to test the other and see who will buckle from the abuse first.]

Sebastian Riggs - Stanton is known for his hard hitting style but he isn’t the only one in there throwing some devastating blows! Hayden is matching him tit for tat!

Dante Reed - Hey, I’ll give him props, he’s showing he can dish out as much as he can take it!

[It’s when on the fiftieth or so punch that Hayden’s leg almost buckles underneath him that he rears back and headbutts Stanton right between the eyes.]

Dante Reed - Oh damn!

[Stanton almost drops to his knees but steadies himself and braces himself for the second headbutt Hayden delivers with cripplingly precision. The Guy in Shades responds in kind with a cringe inducing headbutt that makes Hayden falter before he can pull himself together for another headbutt. The two go back and forth with the headbutts that are able to get an audible cringing groan from the audience from the sheer abuse the two are subjecting each other to. It’s after what has to be a dozen or so headbutts that Hayden wins this duel and Stanton stumbles back into a knee.]

Dante Reed - Hayden won that little stand-off!

Sebastian Riggs - Yes, but at what price?! Neither men went gentle with those headbutts!

Dante Reed - I don’t know, Hayden’s not the one bleeding, Riggs!

[What starts as a small trickle of blood streams down Stanton’s forehead between his eyes and it’s as that crimson mixes into his eyes that he’s stirred from the dazed like state he’s been in. The Gaijin Godzilla moves in for more violence and he finds it in the form of a spinebuster that Stanton practically tackles him down into and leaves him on the mat off of.]

Sebastian Riggs - Spine shattering spinebuster there!

Dante Reed - Yeah, but Joe’s not capitalizing!

[Rather the Scarlet Speedster is dealing with the red that’s in his eyes, trying to wipe it away and allowing Hayden to get back up and run at him. A bulldog connects flush and there is no time wasted on the Sentinel Regional TV Champion’s part in trying to apply the Limitless Lock crossface chickenwing on the prone Joe Stanton. He’s literally less than an inch from cinching on the hold when Stanton blocks it, fighting him for it, he starts elbowing Michael like crazy in the face.]

Dante Reed - The Limitless Lock! It’s Michael Hayden’s variation on the crossface chickenwing and it’s served him well in his career! If he gets this on properly this could already be over before it truly began!

Sebastian Riggs - But Joe’s not letting that happen! He knows how deadly that submission hold is! He knows what it means for his chances of victory if Hayden gets that hold on!

[It takes some quick thinking on Joe’s part of putting his foot on the bottom rope and letting Hayden for the briefest of moments apply it for him to escape. The official gets on Hayden’s case immediately and despite being frustrated Hayden obliges and let’s go of the Limitless Lock, backing off to give Stanton space. The whole space thing only lasts as long as it takes the Scarlet Speedster to get to his feet because the Gaijin Godzilla blasts him in the face with the Sagat Special! The shining wizard variant sends both men up and over the top rope, spilling them out onto the ringside floor!]

Sebastian Riggs - The Sagat Special! But I have to wonder, did Hayden connect with it as cleanly as he normally does with how it sent them over the top rope?

Dante Reed - It looked pretty good to me! The drop couldn’t have helped Joe either!

Sebastian Riggs - True, but Hayden took the same fall!

[Struggling to their feet, the Scarlet Speedster somewhat staggers into his CATCH ME(!!!!) crossbody that sends the Kingpin crashing into the barricade!]

Sebastian Riggs - CATCH ME!!! By Joe Stanton! He’s still in this!

[Both men gradually sit up and it’s as they realize the other is sitting they take turns slapping the spit out of each other back and forth. The fans react to every blow they hit on one another and steadily they speed up with every slap they connect with till Stanton slams Hayden’s head into the barricade. Getting up to his feet and leading the BGDF Very Suave, Very Sophiscated Europe Champion to his feet too, Stanton whips him towards the nearby steel steps. But at the last possible second Michael reverses it and sends the Guy in Shades crashing into it!]

Dante Reed - Up and over the steel steps! Joe Stanton looks like he’s been in a car wreck!

Sebastian Riggs - The referee is being real generous with this match. If they’re not careful, they’re going to push their luck and get counted out!

Dante Reed - You’re not wrong, you can see right there the official scolding Hayden and telling him to get it back into the ring.

[Helping Stanton to his feet, Hayden is met with some resistance when Stanton fires off some quick left handed jabs in succession into his sternum. But a nice Very Suave, Very Sophisticated European Uppercut shuts that down and let’s him throw Joe into the ring with little issues and follow him into the ring.]

Dante Reed - Nice European uppercut there!

[Waiting for Joe to start to stir, the Gaijin Godzilla cinches on a cavat submission and he sets the Scarlet Speedster up for the Once in a Lifetime forward russian leg sweep. But desperate punches to the sternum and ribs, and kidneys frees him from such a fate and the Sentinel Regional Television Champion looks furious over this development. He attempts his Hand of God spinning back fist to subdue Stanton but Stanton actually manages to duck underneath the fist before it connects! Around Hayden goes and when he comes back around to face Joe he finds out first hand why he’s called the One Punch Man when he delivers a thunderous Shoryuken!]

Sebastian Riggs - SHORYUKEN!

[Stanton drops to his knees and pins Hayden, hooking both legs in the process.]

... One!

... Two!

... Three!

[DING DING DING!]

Dante Reed - After a tremendous effort from both men it’s Joe Stanton’s Shoryuken that flies true!

Mike Dempsey - Here is your winner, Joe Stanton!

[“Sunglasses at Night” reprises over the sound system and Joe wipes some of the blood from his face and he smiles at the announcement. Fans are cheering him and applauding both men’s efforts in the match when Joe gets to his feet and the official retrieves his championships for him. The Scarlet Speedster circles the ring and he scales up onto the second turnbuckle to play to the fans, not paying attention to the referee tending to Michael Hayden. When Hayden’s able to come to he stares at the celebrating Stanton, looking like a man with some unfinished business.]

Rise Above

[It was an historic event, and spirits were through the roof! Not only was this first time Union Battleground had traveled to India, but it was the first Pay-Per-View of the season. Michael Hayden and Joe Stanton had just finished delivering a performance that riled the fans, who were still standing and applauding long after the competitors had exited the ring. Unsure of what was to follow, the crowd was in a state of heightened curiosity waiting for Crown of the King Cobra to roll on.]

[Suddenly, the sound of static hits and the jumbotron lights up displaying a film burn that smolders the entire frame; melting from the bottom corner and extending slowly to the top. It's seamlessly switched out with classic grindhouse exploitation imagery -- faux-aged visuals complete with scratches, flicker, and grain. The shot comes into focus, and through the authentically b-grade production value, sit The Union Battleground Battalion Champions -- surrounded by darkness.]

[With a quet intensity we haven't see in a long time, The Outliers stand side by side, titles draped over their shoulders.]

Grin - This seems like a good time for a cool drink..

[holding up a bhang-laced thandai]

Grin - ...And a cold calculated speech with sinister overtones. A speech about justice, about settling scores, but speeches are for campaigning -- now is the time for action.

Corrupts - We're close now. Ready to put OUR championships high above the ring, to once again demonstrate why we are the rightful, undisputed Battalion Champions -- leaders of the entire division.

[Lifting their heads, as if sizing up the ladder.]

Grin - Reginer, Reyes.. You've about reached the end of the line, and realizations are gonna have to be made -- we're gonna see to it. Even if we have to dismantle this building piece by piece to get it done.

Corrupts - We're gonna kick more ass and have more fun doing it. Period. Always seeking to surpass our previous performance -- that's what we do. Tiring Squad, we'll out-party, outsmart and outwork you all at the same time. We've already shown that we can outgun you. But, don't worry, it's almost over. And believe us when we say that. Just like at Coupe de Grace when we said we'd be the first ever UB Battalion Champions. And just like a L!GHTS OUT Eighteen when we said you'd get ERASED. Our words made flesh. It's gonna happen again -- with one last righteous act of bloody, blissful brutality. Pure bizarrtistry.

[The focus shared between the two was palpable.]

Corrupts - No matter how loud you wanna be, all the kicking and screaming, and all the rematches in the world aren't gonna change the fact that this just isn't your time. And when this is all over and done with? You guys are gonna have to find a way to choke it down and fuckin' swallow it. Digest it. You will have no other option after we're done with you. We won't be held up by you any longer, muddyin'up our reign, I promise. Tonight the winner of the fight -- is the winner of the fucking fight.

Grin - Your egos seek out conflict endlessly; they love nothing more than to try and win battles for you, but of course they never do. You tried to discredit us with all your deluded bullshit, but you unknowingly created a shadow that will follow you like the prevailing wind. You want something you can hang your hat on, something to make this all worthwhile, but it's not gonna happen. The truth will be as clear as it ever was. These championships aren't going anywhere, not tonight or anytime soon. The names on these faceplates will remain unchanged. We're gonna keep moving forward in this company, leading the division, and they'll be accompanying us every step of the way. Onward and upward. The Outliers run the fuckin' show here and we refuse to be derailed.

[The crowd detonate as The Outliers slap their titles with conviction.]

Grin - All this big talk about "getting what's rightfully yours,"--I'm so fuckin' sick of that phrase or some combination of it spilling out of your pathetic mouths. The only thing you're gonna get is another world class beatdown courtesy of The Outliers.

Corrupts - We ain't shook. The grave we dig for you will supply plenty of time for silence. With nothing but the memory of your defeat to eat away at you.

[The feed cuts and frame is overtaken with static.]

Dante Reed - Wow, Sabastian! This Battalion Championship match is going to be stellar! I know both teams are going to bring their absolute best into this war!

Sabastian Riggs - There's no doubt about it, partner! I'm as anxious as the next guy, but we've got plenty of great fights to enjoy in the meantime! The whole show is stacked and brimming with talent! Executioner takes on Johnny Vachon! NEXT!

Dante Reed- Welcome back to King of the Crown Cobra, brought to you exclusively through the battleground network and Union Battleground!

Sebastian Riggs- Nice plug.

Dante Reed- Thank you. Up next we will see Gutter Trash face down The Executioner.

Sebastian Riggs- These two have been on a collision course and here tonight they will face one on one!

♫

YEAH, I PENETRATE THE DEMONS

THEIR TEARDROPS BURN AWAY MY EYES

I LOVE THE PAPER-THIN CRY OF THE LOCUST

IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY TO DIE

♫

[“El Phantasmo & The Chicken Run Blast-O-Rama" by White Zombie begins to play throughout. A bloody palm print flashes across the screen as a hooded figure appears from behind the curtain.]

Mike Dempsey - The following contest is set for pinfall or submission. Introducing first, weighing in at two hundred pounds and hailing from unknown origins, The Executioner!

Dante Reed- Such a creepy individual.

[The Executioner walks down the ramp still wearing a solid black hood. As he approaches the ring he stops suddenly. Executioner then throws the hood and robe off his back. The mask beneath evokes horror throughout. A skull with a bloody palm print. There is real detail in the mask.]

Sebastian Riggs- That mask is insane. Who is this guy?

Dante Reed- He’s The Executioner and he’s come for Johnny’s soul, I’m afraid.

[The Executioner slowly gets into the ring then turns toward the stage to watch for Johnny Vachon to appear. The crowd is worked up as Gutter Trash’s music hits throughout.

♫

THEY WANNA SEE BLOOD, THEY WANNA SEE HATE

♫

Mike Dempsey- And his opponent, standing 6’2” and weighing in at 205 pounds, from Spook City, USA, representing Slaughterhouse Wrestling, “Gutter Trash” Johnny Vachon!

Dante Reed- These two men had choice words for one another last week.

Sebastian Riggs- They can work it out with some good ole’ fashioned violence, Dante.

[“America” By Deuce hits the airwaves as the lights begin to flash to a darkened green. Johnny comes walking out from the back with his custom Punk leather jacket, the words “Gutter Trash” written in green spray paint across the back. A half smoked cigarette hangs from his mouth as he stops at the top of the ramp and takes a deep drag before extending his two middle fingers towards the crowd. He pops the cancer stick back in his mouth before beginning down the ramp, shrugging off the shouts of the fans.]

Sebastian Riggs- Gutter Trash is looking for a win while The Executioner just wants to execute. This could turn nasty quick.

Dante Reed- Both of these men are talented.

[Johnny comes to the ring as he takes another drag from the smoke and drops it on the ground before stomping it out with his boot. He slides into the ring and pops to his feet before walking to the farthest turnbuckle and hoping up. He eyes the crowd for a few seconds before flashing a single middle finger towards the fans. He hops down and ditches his jacket before propping himself down in a seated position in the corner, waiting for the bell.]

Dante Reed- Vachon is a dangerous man and The Executioner scares the hell out of me.

Sebastian Riggs- This should be a great match. Both men are ready to go. The referee comes in to call for the bell.

[DING!]

Dante Reed - This Match is underway!

[Johnny and The Executioner lock up in the center of the ring. Vachon gets the upper hand with a knee shot the gut! Executioner falls back into the turnbuckles leading Johnny to follow up with a big splash in the corner!]

Dante Reed- Johnny is rolling!

[Gutter Trash leaves Executioner in the corner propped up after the huge splash. He then tries to rip off his opponent’s mask!]

Sebastian Riggs- Vachon is tired of this man’s identity going unknown. He wants to find out right here right now.

[Vachon rips at The Executioner’s mask and successfully rips a small hole on the jawline. This angers Executioner to no dead and he comes out with a sharp kick to Johnny’s rib cage! The shot robs Gutter Trash of all his air leading him to bend over in response. Executioner takes hold of Johnny then delivers a brainbuster onto his knee! The crowd is shocked by the brutality of the maneuver. The Executioner quickly gets back up to his feet to hover above Johnny, who is now on his hands and knees. Vachon begins catching sharp stomps from his opponent. The referee comes in leading The Executioner to halt the stomping so he grapples up Johnny then Irish whips him into the ropes that transitions into a pop up powerbomb in the center of the ring! He then pins Gutter Trash’s shoulders flush against the mat.]

… One!

… Kick out!

Dante Reed- The Executioner’s identity was nearly revealed but he mounted a real offense to fend that attempt off.

Sebastian Riggs- Vachon is back up!

[Johnny gets up after kicking out at one. The Executioner is also quick back to his feet and he then goes back after Gutter Trash, who catches him across the chest with a nasty slap! Executioner falls back a bit leading Vachon to follow up with a sharp chop across the throat! The Executioner gasps underneath his mask for air and bends over to help in that effort only to catch a fameasser from Johnny! Vachon hooks a leg!]

… One!

… Kick out!

[Vachon gets back up before Executioner leading him to rake his nails across his unsuspecting opponents back from behind! The Executioner falls back toward Johnny, who knees him in the back with malice intent. Vachon then follows up with a reverse DDT!]

Dante Reed- Vachon continues to impress in this one.

[Johnny straddles The Executioner, using his knees to hold down both arms of his now helpless opponent. Vachon then begins to pull and yank at Executioner’s mask once again. The referee gets out of position behind Vachon leading The Executioner to reach up and poke Johnny in the eyes! Gutter Trash falls back giving his opponent a brief opening. The Executioner gets to his feet then cradles up Johnny for a picture perfect Michinoku Driver! He then follows up by getting up then quickly heading for the corner. Vachon is in somewhat of a daze laid out on his back still.]

Sebastian Riggs- Here comes The Executioner!

[The Executioner gets to the corner then quickly gets up on the middle turnbuckle. He uses it to leap up on the top turnbuckle. Vachon doesn’t stir as Executioner turns around to face out. His mask is now ripped on both jawlines but still hiding his identity by a few threads. The Executioner leaps off the top turnbuckle aiming right at Gutter Trash, who rolls out of the way right before he is nailed with a huge flying headbutt!]

Dante Reed- Denied!

[Vachon then goes for a quick cover!]

… One!

… Two!

… Kick out!

[The Executioner kicks out at two then rolls out of the ring underneath the bottom rope.]

Sebastian Riggs- Vachon nearly stole this one!

Dante Reed- He did! Now Executioner is out here in front of our table breathing heavy.

[Vachon hits the mat with frustration after the kick out then subsequently followed by Executioner rolling out of the ring. Johny gets to the corner quickly then leaps up on the middle turnbuckle to boost himself on up to the top one. Gutter Trash waste little time and leaps off looking for a flying forearm smash! The Executioner suddenly leaps up on the announce table then leaps up and at the flying Vachon! The two men meet in mid air with Johnny catching a superman punch to his left jaw! The shot sends him to the outside floor in a pile.]

Dante Reed- Did you see that! What a counter by The Executioner! He’s showing he’s got what it takes to shine in a match like this here tonight.

Sebastian Riggs- That was amazing.

[Executioner then grapples up his lifeless opponent and rolls him into the ring under the bottom rope. The referee began his count but only got to three before both men are back in the ring. The Executioner hooks a leg!]

… One!

… Kick out!

Dante Reed- Kick out by Gutter Trash!

[Executioner goes right back to work after the kick out. He straddles Johnny then methodically begins to drop elbows down onto his helpless opponent. Vachon attempts to cover up with little success. Johnny reaches up and takes hold of the bottom rope leading the referee to come in and break the two men up. He resumes the match after sending Johnny and Executioner to their respective corners.]

Sebastian Riggs- Johnny gets a rope break. Now they are both stood up and here we go!

[The Executioner takes off in a mad dash at Johnny, who counters with a tilt-a-whirl ddt! The maneuver wows the crowd. Vachon then drops to his knees and takes hold of the back of Executioners head by his mask. He then pulls forward while slamming his head forward simultaneously. Gutter Trash begins to head smash his masked opponent over and over! The referee warns him after a third solid headbutt. Executioner’s mask rips across the forehead during the exchange.]

Dante Reed- The Executioner’s mask has nearly been ripped off his face by Johnny Vachon.

Sebastian Riggs- Gutter Trash is just full of curiosity. Just like the rest of us.

[Vachon stands up then rushes over to the ropes. He glides through the ropes then leaps up on the top rope. He uses his cat like balance to springboard off for a beautiful leg drop onto The Executioner. Vachon leaps up then quickly grapples up Executioner, who comes to life! He hammers Gutter Trash with a right hook! Vachon responds by reaching up and ripping off The Executioner’s mask! The shock throughout is evident as his identity is finally revealed to the world.]

Sebastian Riggs- THE SAVIOR OF THE FORGOTTEN!

Dante Reed- The Burning Ember, Aiden Deimos! Look at the shock across Johnny’s face!

[Aiden uses the shock to nail Johnny across the face! He falls back leading Deimos to follow up with a spin kick! He catches Gutter Trash flush on the jaw sending him flat on his back. Aiden quickly hooks a leg.]

… One!

… Kick out!

Dante Reed- Johnny kicks out at one again! That has to be frustrating as all get out to Deimos!

Sebastian Riggs- He doesn’t show it if it does.

[Johnny gets back to his feet staggering a bit. Aiden gets up too then attempts to get ahold of Vachon, who counters with a sharp elbow to Deimos’s forehead! A cut appears across the top of it from the violent shot.]

Sebastian Riggs- Johnny just busted Deimos open with an elbow!

[Vachon watches on as Aiden turns away from him. He comes up from behind Aiden and hooks him for a back suplex! The impact shakes the entire ring. Deimos gets to one knee while Johnny leaps up to meet him. Aiden catches a swift superkick while kneeling! The shot sends him back onto the mat looking up at the bright lights. Gutter Trash pins both of Aiden’s shoulders to the mat.]

… One!

… Two!

… Kick out!

Dante Reed- The resilience of Aiden Deimos is on full display here at Crown of the King Cobra!

[Vachon gets up then pulls Aiden up by the hair of his head with the referee warning the whole way. Johnny grapples up Deimos, who counters with a discus back elbow! The shot busts Johnny’s lip on impact. He staggers back then looks at Aiden with real anger in both eyes. Vachon reaches up and touches his lips to smear blood on his index finger. He spits the blood out of his mouth then charges at Aiden! Deimos hits the ropes behind him then slingshots forward at his attacking opponent. They meet in the middle of the ring with Aiden nearly ripping Johnny in two with a high impact spear!]

Sebastian Riggs- Did you see that! Deimos just tried to divide Gutter Trash by two.

[Aiden follows up by rushing over to the corner. He leaps up on the ropes then bounces up onto the top turnbuckle while Vachon staggers to his feet then gives chase in a daze. Deimos dives off for a moonsault that transitions into a DDT! The high impact maneuver drives Johnny into the mat head first! Deimos hooks a leg!]

… One!

… Two!

… Kick out!

Dante Reed- A near fall! Johnny got a shoulder up at the last possible moment. What a match!

[Aiden grins after the kick out. He knows how close he was to ending this one. Gutter Trash pops up while holding his head. Blood oozes from both lips while Deimos continues to bleed from a cut across his forehead. Johnny gets up then comes at Aiden, who counters with a sharp left jab! The shot sends back Vachon but he comes back with a right hook that nearly takes off Aiden’s head. He staggers back slightly dazed from the shot.]

Sebastian Riggs- Here comes JOHNNY!

[Vachon takes hold of Aiden’s left arm and whips his into the corner! He then follows up with a enziguri in the corner on Deimos! Johnny quickly props Aiden back up in the corner after he falls to both knees. Vachon then hoists up Deimos to a sitting position on the top turnbuckle. Johnny then leaps up and hooks Aiden with a frankensteiner off the top rope! Gutter Trash then scoots back over to Deimos to hook his right leg!]

… One!

… Two!

… Thr-, Kick out!

Dante Reed- Unbelievable! These men both want a win and neither have given an inch in this one. Executioner revealed to be Aiden Deimos and now he and Gutter Trash are wowing this Indian crowd.

Sebastian Riggs. That’s an understatement. These two continue to push the envelope in this one.

[Johnny gets to his feet in a hurry to continue his offense. Deimos gets to one knee then shakes his head attempting to with little success to catch his bearings. Vachon comes over and applies a headlock on Aiden. He twists and turns his opponents neck to inflict pain and suffering.]

Dante Reed- Vachon going old school with a headlock.

[Aiden counters by throwing sharp elbows back at Vachon! Gutter Trash takes the first two but a third solid elbow strike leads him to release his headlock. Deimos catches Johnny bent over and quickly grapples him into a cross legged fisherman buster! Aiden then avoids going for the pin and rather aims for his opponents legs. He lifts them up as he positions himself for a figure four leg lock.]

Sebastian Riggs- The Savior of the Forgotten just locked in the figure four in the center of the ring. Gutter Trash can not reach the ropes.

[Aiden locks in the figure four then leans back to apply pressure. The two men stare at each other with Aiden enjoying inflicting damage on Johnny’s legs. Vachon thrashes about with both arms reaching in every direction for any rope.]

Dante Reed- This could be it, Ladies and Gentlemen! I don’t see how Johnny breaks this.

[Deimos leans back even further to put the pressure on. Johnny writhes in pain then suddenly attempts to flip both men over! He fails miserably leading Aiden to apply even more pressure.]

Sebastian Riggs- He’s trying to flip them over to redirect the pressure.

[Gutter Trash rocks left with all he’s got. Then right suddenly! He continues doing this while in real pain. Finally he uses the momentum to flip both men over putting the pressure now on Aiden!]

Dante Reed- Johnny reversed the figure four! Now it’s Deimos that’s in trouble!

[Aiden flops around face first on the mat. He digs in then slowly drags himself and Johnny closer to the bottom ropes. Vachon senses this and applies pressure to halt this countermeasure. Aiden continues to dig and scratch for the bottom rope. He lunges forward then reaches out again fully extended. Still too far to reach. Deimos begins to fade while Johnny repays the favor. The referee comes in close to watch for a tap. Aiden lunges again and this time takes hold of the bottom rope! The referee breaks the hold and stands both men up.]

Sebastian Riggs- What a match this has been. Both men are still bleeding but this one will continue.

Dante Reed- That exchange took a lot from each wrestlers legs.

[Both men favor their legs after getting to their respective corners. The referee resumes the match. Johnny struts right at his opponent, who kicks him in the shin! Aiden causes Vachon to hit a knee because of the solid shot. Deimos follows up by grappling up his staggered opponent. Aiden hooks Vachon with a suplex that transitions into a modified reverse STO!]

Dante Reed- Judas’s Cradle!

Sebastian Riggs- Deimos hooks a leg!

… One!

… Two!

… Three!

[DING! DING! DING!]

Mike Dempsey- Here is your winner, Aiden Deimos!

Sebastian Riggs- What a match! Both of these men put on a show for this crowd here in India.

Dante Reed- They know how many eyes are on this pay per view. They gave everything they had in this one. Aiden Deimos was revealed to be The Executioner and you know what that means, Riggs.

Sebastian Riggs- It means that Salvation is even stronger than we previous believed.

Dante Reed- Indeed. We will be right back with more Crowd of the King Cobra!

Sebastian Riggs- Stay tuned!

The Ghost

[The room is filled with darkness that can only be accentuated with the fact that the cameraman can see a single spotlight in the middle of the room, as well as what looks to be a noose and a chair, both of which are illuminated by the chair. The cameraman sees the light, starting to slowly move towards it but in that moment, he hears a woman singing in the background, with every note sung leaving a haunting impression upon the listener.]

The Ghost

“Come little children,

I'll take thee away

Into a land of enchantment

Come little children,

the time's come to play

Here in my garden of shadows”

[The woman’s voice vanishes while at the exact same time, the light in the middle of the room goes out. The cameraman frantically flips on the night vision which is equipped on his camera while he begins looking around for the source of the voice he had just heard singing. He then gets a cold shiver as if it felt like someone had just walked through him as the voice of the woman whom was just singing can be heard again, sending the cameraman’s hair on its ends. The female voice this time seems to be noticeably louder to the cameraman as if it was closer to him than when he had originally heard it.]

The Ghost

“Follow sweet children,

I'show thee the way

Through all the pain and the sorrows

Weep not poor children,

for life is this way

Murdering beauty and passions”

[The spotlight comes back onto the chair in the middle of the room, where a woman in all white and a mask is now standing with the noose around strung her neck. She then looks down at the man as she smiles underneath her mask yet ironically, the mask itself is a crying face, giving the contradicting impression that she is actually sad. She begins to sing the final piece, before a wind slowly picks up out of nowhere, slightly beginning to blow the chair over which she stands on over.]

The Ghost

“Come little children,

the time's come to play

Here in my garden of shadows

Come little children,

I'll take thee away

Into a land of enchantment

Come little children,

The time's come to play

(Strange things did happen here, no stranger would it be)

Here in my garden of shadows

(If we met at midnight in the hanging tree)”

[As the hand we’ve seen now a few times before suddenly reaches out for him to pull the cameraman out of all of this, the chair blows out from under her with the scene fading back into the main room where he had originally began this journey. The Guardian is standing there watching him, yet again unimpressed and without hesitation, pushes him towards the door.]

The Guardian

I’ve never seen her act this way with anyone, and that was her most intimate moment. Why she chose to share it with you…I’ll never understand. Now go, hopefully I can undo the damage you have done.

[The cameraman leaves without putting up a fight, frightened and shaken by all that has witnessed.]

Sebastian Riggs- Welcome back to Crown of the King Cobra!

Dante Reed- We are live, RIGGS!

Sebastian Riggs- Up next, we will see The Patron Saintes of Sass and Cass take on Genevie Carlson and Felix Hartley in a battalions match up!

Dante Reed- These two teams hate each other. That’s clear from twitter alone.

Sebastian Riggs- Carlson and Hartley are both seasoned wrestlers. The Patron’s will have no simple task here. These women can all fight.

Mike Dempsey- The following contest is a One Night Only Battalion Match And is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, weighing in at a combined weight of 268 lbs, the team of Oceane Jourdain and Sabina Sainte, The Patron Saintes of Sass and Class!

[Instrumental sirens and snare dream beat fill the P.A. system and immediately the lights dim down low. Everyone's attention turns to the stage, waiting for the arrival of Oceane Jourdain and Sabina Sainte. They know this because the video screen above the entrance way flickers on and showcases a video package for the two. This mix of sirens, snare drum pattern and techno-ish rhythm lasts a few seconds before Iggy Azalea's voice is heard.]

♫

FUCK LOVE, GIVE ME DIAMONDS.

FUCK LOVE, GIVE ME DIAMONDS.

♫

Dante Reed- Women love diamonds.

Sebastian Riggs- You’re learning. Almost ready to for tinder.

[On cue with the introduction of vocals, the girls make their appearance. They both walk out through the curtain, Oceane leading - high stepping a little as the lights flood down on her. Her arm is reached back and her fingers laced with Sabina's as she emerges, an extra sway in her step. The two beautiful women stop together in the centre of the spotlight, giving a little pose to the crowd. Oceane biting on her gloved index finger, and Sabina popping her hips in either direction sexually. This lasts a few short seconds before both smile and begin their descent down to the ring. The ring announcer does his introductions as they walk down, announcing "Oceane Jourdain" first, which is when Sabina points to her bestie. "and Sabina Sainte" is announced next, and Oceane returns the favor by pointing to her. After which, the two link hands again and continue their way down. Once at ringside, they turn and approach the nearest set of steps with Oceane still leading.]

Dante Reed- The Patron Saintes of Sass and Class have had success while here at Union Battleground. This may be their toughest match to date.

Sebastian Riggs- Sass and Class hurt Maggie Chamberlain and put her on the shelf leading to this encounter.

[Oceane and Sabina don't release hands until Jourdain steps onto the apron. This is when they split, each going their opposite way. Sabina walks along the apron to mid-ring while Oceane enters from her side. Oceane walks through the ring, joining Sabina at the ropes again. Sabina lays across the middle rope, hooking a leg over the top and extending the other high in the air. Oceane climbs the ropes, one foot on the bottom rope while the other steps over the ropes and hooks over the top. She smiles that seductive smile of hers as she stares out into the crowd. They keep this pose a few brief moments before Oceane steps down and Sabina slips through the ropes completely. They meet up again in their corner, talking to each other and giggling at their opponent's expense.]

[The beginning beat of "Killing You Hoes" by Trina begins to play as the lights dim, only white and pink lights shine move out over the crowd.]

♫

AH AH AH YEP YEP YEP

THE BADDEST BITCH IS BACK

I’M BACK PART TWO PART TWO

I’M RELOADED AND I’M KILLIN’ YOU HOES

♫

Sebastian Riggs- Genevie has been brutal on Twitter. I love it.

Dante Reed- It’s all psychological. She a true warrior inside that ring, and her history clearly shows!

[Genevie appears from behind the curtain with a smirk on her face as she looks around the crowd, drinking in the boos as she does her signature stripper dance, twirling around as she shakes her ass. She completes a rotation as she bites her lip and winks at the crowd making her way down the ramp.]

Mike Dempsey- Now making her way to the ring from New York City, New York, representing the 4CW, Genevie Carlson!

[She stops at the bottom of the ramp as fans boo and yell at her and she rolls her eyes putting her hand up towards them with disgust before running to the side of the ring and jumping up. She stands smugly on the side of the apron before flipping over the top rope, scooping up her hat from the ring mat as she adjusts and fixes her hair the music fading in the background as she gets ready for the match.]

Dante Reed- Genevie came for a fight as did Harley. They won’t leave here tonight without spilling blood.

[The crowd cheers as Kendrick Lamar walks across the stage. Lamar takes in the crowd’s energy before he begins to spit fire.]

♫

MARTIN HAD A DREAM...

MARTIN HAD A DREAM...

KENDRICK HAVE A DREAM....

♫

[The fans turn their attention towards the entrance where the lights lit up a bright red.]

Mike Dempsey- Now making her way to the ring, her partner, from Las Vegas, Nevada, Felix Hartley!

♫

ALL MY LIFE I WANT MONEY AND POWER

RESPECT MY MIND OR DIE FROM LEAD SHOWER

I PRAY MY DICK GET BIG AS THE EIFFEL TOWER

SO I CAN FUCK THE WORLD FOR 72 HOURS

♫

[As soon as the bass kicks in, out walks the originator of Ass, Class & Sass herself – Felix Hartley. The fans explode seeing the two-time GWC Empress Champion and former 4CW competitor flaunting the goods as she whips her vibrant red hair around. She slowly raises her arms in the air with her signature overconfident grin. Needless to say, her sudden presence was so explosive that she stole the fans' undivided attention.]

Dante Reed- Kendrick Lamar came to play Harley to the ring!

Sebastian Riggs- Amazing! Union Battleground spared no expense for Crown of The King Cobra!

[Her slow and nonchalant saunter to the ring only emphasized why she was there; to make a point. She held out her hand once she got closer to the ring as she waited for a microphone. She slowly ascended up the steps and right between the ropes into the ring.]

Dante Reed- Felix and Genie are now both in the ring and quickly discussing strategy. It appears that Carlson and Sainte will start things off in this one.

Sebastian Riggs- Genevie and Felix are licking their chops. Referee calls for the bell!

[DING!]

[Carlson and Sainte circle each other. Genevie snarls at her opponent before they grapple in the center of the ring. The two men swing each other around in a fight for supremacy. Carlson slings Sabina into the corner then follows up by putting her foot against Sainte’s throat braced against the top turnbuckle! Felix stands on the apron and pulls out a phone.]

Carlson- Smile for Instagram, Bitch!

[Genevie then smiles as Hartley snaps the photo of her choking Sabina in the corner. This enrages Sainte and causes to flip Carlson over then she begins slamming her head into the mat with real force!]

Dante Reed- Did you see that? She had Felix take a picture of her choking Sainte!

Sebastian Riggs- Yeah, they aren’t friends. These teams hate each other.

Dante Reed- That’s evident!

[Genie takes off at Sabina and catches her with a running head scissor takedown! The maneuver leaves Sainte in a slight daze. Carlson follows up by hooking a leg!]

… One!

… Two!

… Broken Up!

Sebastian Riggs- Broken up by Oceane Jourdain!

Dante Reed- Felix didn’t like that!

[Harley slips up behind Jourdain then yanks her back into a violent backstabber! The violent maneuver wows the crowd. Genevie recovers after receiving a stomp to the face from Jourdain to break up the pin moments prior. Sabina comes out of nowhere with a shining wizard to the unsuspecting Carlson, who is on her hands and knees. Sainte hooks a leg but the referee is dealing with Felix and Jourdain on the opposite side of the ring.]

Dante Reed- The referee has lost control of this one already, Riggs.

Sebastian Riggs- No kidding, he missed that pin attempt by Sabina completely.

[Sainte gets up and walks over to the referee to complain. Felix pokes her in the eye as she approaches with her back to the referee, concealing the blatant cheap shot from the ref. Hartley then goes over to her corner and slips back out onto the apron. Carlson stands up behind Sainte, who falls back into Genie. She lowers her head to get her falling opponent onto her shoulders! Carlson then stands up all the way simultaneously raising Sabina high into the air. Genevie then falls back for a high impact electric chair drop!]

Sebastian Riggs- Carlson appears to still be in a daze from that shining wizard earlier. She needs to get to Felix Harley in the corner!

Dante Reed- Hartley wants a tag!

[Both women attempt to reach for a tag. Genie gets to her feet then staggers across the ring toward her partner while Sabina scoots toward her corner on the mat.]

Dante Reed- Felix gets the tag!

[Hartley slaps hands with Carlson then dashes through the ropes. She charges across the ring to chase after Sabina but she tags in Jourdain! Oceane glides through the ropes to cut off Felix Harley. The two women ball up their fists and begin swapping blows!]

Sebastian Riggs- We got a fight!

[Jourdain comes across with a sudden palm thrust! The shot sends Hartley back leading Oceane to follow up with a standing drop kick! Felix falls back through the ropes and out onto the apron.]

Dante Reed- Here comes The French Phenom to halt some of this momentum from Felix and Genie.

Sebastian Riggs- What is Jourdain thinking here!?

[Oceane quickly gets to the corner closest to Felix, who is struggling on her back after the solid drop kick shot to the jaw. Jourdain climbs the turnbuckles in the corner until she reaches the top. She leaps off backwards aiming for Hartley on the apron! The moonsault wows the crowd and Oceane just misses snagging her left foot on the top rope as she flies through the air. Just before she hits Felix, she lifts her knees up! Oceane hits ribs first across both of Hartley’s knees leading her to crash and burn on the outside of the ring!]

Sebastian Riggs- What a counter! Felix counters with knees and may have broken a few of Jourdain’s ribs.

Dante Reed- Oceane is hurting after that.

[Hartley rolls off the apron and lands on both feet on the outside floor. She quickly takes a hold of Oceane by the hair of her head. She then pulls her over to the apron and carefully rolls Jourdain back into the ring. Felix rolls underneath the bottom rope and aims to pin Oceane, who counters using her legs with a triangle choke! Jourdain locks it in leading Felix’s eyes to widen with shock.]

Sebastian Riggs- The French Phenom counters with a triangle choke! They are now in the center of the ring.

Dante Reed- Felix Hartley has nowhere to go!

[Jourdain continues to apply pressure attempting to put her opponent to sleep. The referee hovers above real close to watch for a tap. Felix fights off and continues to shake her head refusing to tap.]

Dante Reed- Oceane is trying to choke out Hartley here.

Sebastian Riggs- Felix is fading fast.

[The referee comes in and lifts up Hartley’s left hand then drops it to the mat. Before he can lift it up for a second time, Genevie comes out of nowhere to drop a knee on Oceane’s face! The lick breaks up the triangle choke and the referee quickly directs Carlson back to her corner. The violent impact of the knee to Jourdain’s face leaves her nose busted and now bleeding.]

Sebastian Riggs- Jourdain just got her nose busted. These girls are mean.

[Oceane rolls over on her side while holding her nose. Hartley begins to crawl toward her corner in the opposite direction. Jourdain is still aware and begins to slowly crawl toward Sabina as well.]

Dante Reed- Both women want to make a tag in this situation, Sebastian.

Sebastian Riggs- These two ladies have taken some shots. They need to get the fresh women into the match up and they both know it.

[Oceane reaches up with her nose bleeding more profusely now. On the opposite side of the ring, Felix reaches out to tag in her partner, Genevie Carlson!]

Dante Reed- Carlson is tagged in! Oceane then tags in her partner, Sabina Sainte!

[The women meet in the middle of the ring and Sabina goes for a clothesline but Genie ducks it! She hits the ropes on the opposite side of the ring then slingshots back at Sainte full speed! Sabina turns only to be caught for a swinging neckbreaker! Carlson leaps back to her feet then begins to stomp down on Sainte without mercy.]

Sebastian Riggs- Genevie continues her offense with impactful stomps.

[Carlson then follows up with a snapmare knee smash! She then hooks Sainte’s left leg to pin both shoulders flush against the mat.]

… One!

… Kick out!

Dante Reed- Kick out by Sabina Sainte! What a hard hitting matchup this has turned out to be.

Sebastian Riggs- Both teams are violent and out for blood.

[Genevie reaches down to grapple up Sainte, who rolls Carlson up in a pin!]

… One!

… Two!

… Kick out!

Sebastian Riggs- Sainte nearly stole one! Carlson is shocked.

[Sainte and Genevie get to their feet leading Sabina to snatch hold of Carlson’s left hand. She pulls her forward for a short arm clothesline! Genevie gets back to one knee and Sabina catches her with a kneeling jawbreaker! The impact causes Carlson to bounce back onto the mat flat on her back. Sabina wastes no time in rushing to the corner. She quickly leaps up on the middle turnbuckle then on up to the top. Sainte turns out to face Genie, who remains on her back in the center of the ring. Sabina leaps off looking for a double foot stomp! Genevie rolls out of the way at the last possible second! Sainte lands awkward, twisting her right ankle. She falls to the mat on her hands and knees while Carlson reaches up to tag in Felix Hartley!]

Dante Reed- Oceane is out of this one on the apron. She may be suffering from a broken rib or two if you ask me.

Sebastian Riggs- She needs to suck it up because Sabina is in real trouble now.

[Felix comes up from behind her fallen opponent, Sabina Sainte. Hartley creeps up slowly and snatches up the right twisted ankle. She then twists it with all she’s got applying an ankle lock from behind. Sainte screams out in pain for a moment then taps the mat three times to give up.]

[DING! DING! DING!]

Mike Dempsey- Here are your winners, Genevie Carlson and Felix Hartley!

Dante Reed- What a match up! Felix and Genie won this match with smart counters and taking advantage at every turn.

Sebastian Riggs- They came here tonight to hurt Sass and Cass. Plain and Simple.

Dante Reed- I would say they have achieved just that.

Sebastian Riggs- We will be back with more Crown of The King Cobra, ladies and gentlemen!

Two for the Price of One

[Cutting backstage we see Blake Archer after his match, sweat is dripping off his body and his wife Mary-Jane is using a white towel to dry him off. He still seems to be drawing big breaths regaining his air.]

Mary-Jane - You did so good love. I don't think your opponent was ready.

Blake Archer - They never are...

[From behind them we can hear a slow mythological clapping. The two of them and camera turns to see the older business man who now owns the Global Wrestling Promotion.]

Blake Archer - Mr. Peters, I didn't know you were going to be here?

[The GWP owner reaches in his vest pocket and pulls out a ticket for the event. Than stands next to the couple giving them a look over with a wide grin on his face.]

Jeremy Peters - You think I would miss one of my champions defending that belt? I am not Charles Kennedy remember. What a match. Did you hear that reaction? You take such a beating out there, you comeback with such grit. Haha! The people here loved that. In fact that is why it has taken me awhile to get backstage to congratulate you. Guess where I just came from? I had the pleasure of speaking personally with Mr. Axel Graves. We both agreed that after that the fans need to see a more marketed championship match. I've already decided one of your opponents for you. Someone you know very personally. Your former DOA partner from GWP, the GWP Woman's Heavyweight Champion... Josie Pleasure.

[Blake stares at his boss with a stunned look that is written on his face. His wife can't hold back her aggravation at this announcement.]

Mary-Jane - Josie? and ...What do you mean one of his opponents? How man people does he need to face?

Blake Archer - Stop babe, I can fight everyone and anyone. You want to put me up against family Mr. Peters. ok. Who else will I face?

Jeremy Peters - That is the beauty of it, I told Mr. Graves that he can do whatever else he likes with the match. Only two things are for certain my dear boy. That GWP World Heavyweight Championship will be defended in DUBLIN, IRELAND, and one of your opponents is going to be my Woman's World Heavyweight Champion. I want to see more of my champions featured. Mr. Graves likes seeing other champions on his show. We both win. I hope you are not bothered by facing one of your dear friends?

[After a moment of silence Blake shakes his head. He takes a deep breath and pushes through his emotions and fatigue.]

Blake Archer - I got to do what I got to do. I said this title is something to be proud of holding and with that sometimes comes fighting people we might not want to.

Jeremy Peters - Good to hear. I will see you in May in Ireland.

[He walks off leaving them, Mary-Jane puts her arms around Blake as he stares at the fading GWP Owner. He seems in a state of shell-shock from the news he just heard while the scene fades to black.]

Commercial

Body Bags

[We find ourselves returning from the first major advertisement break of the evening to peer in on a somewhat poorly lit corner of the arena, complete with the same painted walls of the corridor one might expect, but with, if you'd allow, less frill to it. It isn't that it's a bland portion of the arena, but that it does not possess the same charm as where one traditionally might expect to see backstage vignettes. That being said, the setting for this moment owns it own bit of charm in a peculiar way. It feels more honest.]

[A moment passes in silence before footsteps can be heard and a man steps into frame. He sports a black attire, from black dress shoes to black slacks, from a black shirt to a black watch. However, his tie would be a steel blue and its clip a gun metal gray. His sleeves would be rolled up just past his elbows, while his blazer would be absent from the scope of the camera. His left hand is buried in his pocket, the angle hiding the tattoo adorning his forearm, but he seems mindful of this fact at the moment. KAI STEVENS, it is now clearly, nods his head, his eyes drifting around the floor to the left of the camera, stage-right. Swallowing, he would then wet his lips and flick his eyes with force to the lens of the camera, staring directly into the soul of the viewer, whomever that may be.]

Kai Stevens - Welcome ladies and gentlemen, to our prologue. Some of you, through fault only of your own, don't know who I quite am just yet. Rest assured, however, that that is going to change... And change MIGHTILY. For those of you who do know me, know my name, and know what I bring to the table, this should not come as a surprise. If you knew one fiber of Kai Stevens, you'd have been expecting this by now. But, for those of you that this is your first exposure to the Inevitable, let me make something abundantly clear, so as to not leave room for confusion. My name is Kai Stevens and I am the singularly greatest athlete this sport has ever had the honor and privilege to know. Every single place I've ever stepped foot has come to learn by name, whether that be through force or through awe, and I have left a path of BODY BAGS in my wake. I have been a champion in every single place that recognized the stark contrast between ratings prior to my arrival and during my tenure.

[Kai would shake his head from side to side, his eyes drifting from the camera again as he composes his thoughts and architects his rhetoric carefully. It, if his body language is to be believed, could not possibly have been a prior construction, but instead the verbal skewering must be a singularity of spontaneity, poised with genuine motivation and emotion. He lifts his left hand from his pocket, scratching at his beard, revealing that his watch would be on his dominant hand. The angle at which he scratches at his beard allows the viewer to truly get a sense of his two tattoos that are visible: one on his wrist, a script writing of "KEEP FIGHTING;" and one larger, more colorful one on his forearm, a harpoon of whaling style, gripped around the hilt by rope. The metal shaft is wrapped in ribbon with colors of red and a rustic gold. On said ribbon, a portion of Captain Ahab's famous last words: "FROM HELL'S HEART, I STAB AT THEE."]

Kai Stevens - And now it's time-- not to continue my story, but to take it in a new direction. Less than six months ago, I was on top of the world, being lauded as the world's brightest new star in a budding promotion by the name of Premier Wrestling Federation. There, I took down monsters among men, I kicked the teeth down the throats of lunatics, and splattered a man across the canvas like spilled paint who called himself a CLEANER. I ran through every single slack-jawed idiot and middlebrow hero they made the grave mistake of putting in my way, from nobodies like Jeremy Baltimore to guys those PARODY companies in high school gymnasiums won't even let compete for 'em anymore. I ran through that company like a bat outta' Hell, and I was the UNDISPUTED PWF Heavyweight Champion of the World. To put it in terms even the simplest of my coworkers could understand, I left every single person I've faced in a BODY BAG. I haven't lost a match in OVER A CALENDAR YEAR! There hasn't been a SINGLE PERSON CAPABLE OF STOPPING ME! NOT A ONE! I've gone EVERYWHERE in search of someone, ANYONE who could make it worth my while to even ENTERTAIN THE OFFER OF FACING THEM! I've beaten the best Japan has to offer, the best Florida has to offer, the best Connecticut has to offer, the best THE ENTIRE WORLD HAS!

[Kai shakes his head, loosening his tie with a clear lack of composure that had characterized the beginning of the segment. He clears his throat as he does so, swallowing and wetting his lips before pointing an index finger extended from a clenched fist at the camera, as if pointing at each individual viewer with authority. His brows furrow for a split second before raising ever so slightly, his knuckles whitened from the clenching and an arrogant smirk gripping his bearded face.]

Kai Stevens - And now EACH and EVERY one of you are witnesses... So there can be NO ONE to say I didn't warn you... There is a reason they call me the Inevitable, ladies and gentlemen... And I'm here today to introduce you to what will, inevitably, be the END of this company as you know it. Since I signed my contract, I've been WAITING. I've been LISTENING. I've been hearing the words of many a man, and the actions of so very few. I've heard guys like Blake Archer run his mouth like he just did, and I've seen guys like your world champ, Nemesis, talk and talk and talk and play games... But where is the action? Where are the guys who tell you what the Hell they're gonna' do and then they FUCKING DO IT?! Where is the POTENCY? Ladies and gentlemen, not only am an Envoy of the End, but I am the ANSWER to these questions. I am the man who is going to drag this company -- this INDUSTRY -- whether it LIKES IT or NOT into a NEW AGE. And not only am I NOT going to leave those behind who can't keep up? I'm gonna' PUT THEM DOWN. This is a DOG EAT DOG industry, ladies and gentlemen, and everybody in this place is ALL BARK and NO BITE... But me? You can ask anyone who knows anything about this industry, because they'll tell you just how much of a BITE it takes for guys like Brian Church to take notice... And I CAN'T WAIT TO SINK MY TEETH IN!

[Kai lifts his clenched right fist to point his index finger at his teeth, which would remain clenched together throughout the guttural delivery of this phrase, before turning and pointing the same index finger into the camera with the last syllable of his words. A soft snickering emits from his lips, an imperious grin drifting across his visage, as if he were both amused and visualizing a maniacal and systematic evisceration of his enemies. Sick would be the word to describe the facial expression, but the macabre and rather disturbing calm in his demeanor following would be even sicker.]

Kai Stevens - I have grown so very sick and tired of the droning on and on and on and ON by the incompetent morons that comprise this roster. They've begun... Begun to sound like the adults in Peanuts, but an inverse, as the fact of the matter is that it's because they are so CHILDISH... I have grown tired of it, and y'know what? Unlike these CHILDREN, I'm gonna' DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. So whether it's some scene kid who got carried away with his sister's make up or a poor man-- a HOMELESS man's rendition of the New Age Plague, or even wannabe' MMA fighters, and DEFINITELY guys with a screw or two loose who need their WIFE to hold their hand during fights... I'm taking the fight to THEM. And then THEY are LEAVING IN BODY BAGS.

[Kai would chuckle ominously here for a moment before glancing down at the ground beneath him. A cocky smirk appears on his face and he lifts his head, glaring contemptuously and with slightly furrowed brows into the camera, preparing to deliver the denouement to his prologue. He wets his lips and inhales through his nostrils before doing so.]

Kai Stevens - I told you all this was your prologue... Which means that soon enough, I'll be making my debut and I'll be making one of you incompetent CHILDREN the first chapter of a whole new epic... For you and your fans, it'll be a TRAGEDY... But for me? A COMING OF AGE. It doesn't remotely matter to me who they put in front of me, because at the end of the day, whoever tries to square up with Kai Stevens ends up the same way... BODY BAG. So be it Nemesis, Blake Archer, Joe Stanton, Finn Whelan, Dick Devereaux, or ANYONE ELSE... For you and your way of life here in this company? The END IS NIGH!"

[With this Kai, would shake his head and shove the camera from its perch atop a tripod, sending it crashing to the floor. One can still hear the sound of his footsteps as the Envoy of the End struts away like A Man Possessed. Our production camera hastens to allow our segment to FADE TO BLACK.]

Mike Dempsey - The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, standing 5’11” and weighing in at 185 pounds, representing Carnage Wrestling, he is a member of Salvation, “The Savior of Truth” Ragnarok!

[Cameras come back to the ringside area panning over the fans each excited to be filmed. The lights all dim to a very low level only the exit isles are lit up.]

"SHHHHH"

[The Jumbotron cuts off as Red Mist covers the stage. A shadowy figure is seen sitting Indian style.]

Dante Reed - Alright Bas, here comes one of the newest members of Salvation. What we expect to see in this man’s debut bout?

Sebastian Riggs - Well Dante, he’s a proven talent, being a former Carnage Wrestling Baltimore City Champion. His biggest asset is his ability to counter his opponent’s offense. He likes to pick his spots, and use his opposition’s momentum against them.

[From out of nowhere, Flash comes up from behind assaulting him with a forearm to the back of the head! Ragnarok stumbles forward on the stage. Flash stays after him running at Ragnarok and hitting a Yakuza Kick. Ragnarok is sprung around into the ring apron he rolls under the rope and to his hands and knees. Flash slides in fast after him and the Ref signals for the bell.]

Dante Reed - Holy hell! Flash Kassidy isn’t waiting around for this one! He’s taking matters into his own hands!

[DING!]

Sebastian Riggs - Ragnarok's strategy for the last few weeks has come back to bite him. Kassidy is very amped up after the ambush attacks that Ragnarok has put him through.

Dante Reed - Looks like Kassidy wanted to give Ragnarok a little dose of his own medicine!

[He continues with a kick to the leg, and then grabbing Ragnarok's wrist he Irish whips him into the corner. Flash rushes him leaping up and hitting a superman forearm to him in the corner. Flash continues to drill Ragnarok with forearms one after another after another. The India crowd is loving the high intensity that Flash is showing. He tosses Ragnarok down to the mat, and rushes off the ropes into a Rolling Thunder. Flash turns not even thinking of a pin attempt instead striking Ragnarok with a knee to the face, and then to the gut as he stood up. Flash Irish whips Ragnarok across the ring following him closely, but Ragnarok grabs the top turnbuckle and lifts himself over Flash trapping him in the corner now. Flash turns around only to get kicked in the gut preceded by a dropkick. Flash flops down in the corner stuck in a sitting position as Ragnarok continues to strike him savagely. He rolls out under the bottom rope only for Ragnarok to follow him. Kassidy ducks a punch from the Savior of Truth and causes him to strike the outside ring post instead! Ragnarok cries out loudly in agony holding his right hand.]

Dante Reed - Seemed Kassidy was hurting there for a minute, but he turned it around with that evasion. Ragnarok could have broken his hand!

Sebastian Riggs - I doubt Flash cares if Ragnarok's hand is broken or not, still on the offensive!

[Flash makes some moves on the outside grabbing Ragnarok into a Monkey Flip. He turns around and rushes with a spinning Dropkick. Flash get inside and plays to the crowd getting love back from them for his attention. The Ref checks on the outside where Ragnarok is inching across the floor and uses the barricade to pull himself back up to a vertical base. Flash climbs the turnbuckle near Ragnarok and continues to play towards the crowd Ragnarok gets up, but not in the ring. Flash dives flipping forward and onto Ragnarok with a flipping senton! The crowds voices oooo-oooh ahhh together. Kassidy stands up and taunts for them grinning through the soreness the high risk move has caused.]

Dante Reed - High risk, high reward. The Burner has Ragnarok down with that big flipping senton off the top rope to the outside floor.

Sebastian Riggs - I think Kassidy been smoking that Indian Baba to do crazy shit like that!

[Flash grabs Ragnarok by the back of the head and shove him under the bottom rope into the ring, he clubs his forearm across Ragnarok's throat before thrusting him the rest of the way into the ring. Ragnarok holds his throat and rolls over to his feet. Flash slides into the ring after him, but only makes it to his knees before Ragnarok strikes with a Buzzsaw Kick. His foot cracks off the side of Flash's head, his eyes start to roll back in his head and he timbers over to the mat. Ragnarok leaps over him hooking the leg tightly for the pin.]

… One!

… Tw-!

… Kick out!

[Flash pops his shoulder up, and Ragnarok punches Flash before he can sit up. He slams Flash's head back into the mat several times before having to let go, he stands up and rakes his foot off Flash's eyes garnering a large boo out of the crowd.]

Dante Reed - The Burner manages to kick out at just the two, but Ragnarok is not giving him any room to breath.

Sebastian Riggs - He is playing nasty Dante, just like Salvation like it. Kassidy is going to be in trouble if this keeps up.

[The Savior of Truth waits watching Flash get up and hits a ZigZag on Flash right as he stood. On the far edge of the ring Flash falls, Ragnarok grabs hold of Flash's arm nearly locking in an armbar before the Burner hooks his other arm around the bottom rope. Ragnarok is unable to apply the move fully and doesn't want to let go until the Referee forces him to physically.]

Dante Reed - Flash got lucky being near the ropes there. Ragnarok better be careful or the Referee could disqualify him.

Sebastian Riggs - The refs usually are pretty lenient, but you know I really don't think he cares, he just wants to cause damage to Flash Kassidy.

[Ragnarok advances back at Kassidy, but he yanks the middle rope down and sends Ragnarok through it and tumbling back to the outside. Flash sees this and gets a thought as his eyes light up. He scurries to his feet and ascends the top turnbuckle. Fans start to stir with excitement. Ragnarok stands up on the outside leaning against the barricade. He seems to be taking his time he turns and then Flash flies through the air with a high flying DDT but Ragnarok catches him, he lifts Kassidy up and into a suplex across the barricade!]

Dante Reed - The fans at ringside felt that one. Kassidy is riving in pain after that suplex to the barricade. Ragnarok takes the high ground again just like that.

Sebastian Riggs -  He wasn't going to let Flash have two of those big aerial moves on him tonight.

[Now Ragnarok gets into the ring and the Ref is counting, One he shouts. Flash is crawling using the ring steps to walk himself back to a vertical base. The Ref is now at Three and Flash looks up at Ragnarok taunting him to get back into the ring. Four the Ref cries, Flash hobbles along side the ring with Ragnarok pacing with him. Five the count gets halfway. Flash picks his spot and dashes under the bottom rope, Ragnarok attacks him right as he gets back in. First a kick to the back of the shoulder, then he lifts him up and delivers a back hand chop. Flash grabs his chest. He spins out of the way of another and sends Ragnarok into the corner. Before Flash can regain any momentum Ragnarok hits a Superkick followed by a Codebreaker. Flash hits the mat dazed allowing Ragnarok time to compose himself again.]

Dante Reed -  Ragnarok has an answer for everything it seems.

Sebastian Riggs - Yes he does, it is impressive, but The Burner has also been able to survive everything Ragnarok throws at him. I think frustration to end it fast could be setting in.

[Ragnarok has to take a considerable amount of time before he is able to grab Flash. He holds his arm and then hoist him up on his shoulders almost in a fireman's carry, but Ragnarok holds him there. He tosses Kassidy up, but Kassidy grabs a hold of Ragnarok's head countering the Sudden Silence with his Koopa Drop! Ragnarok's head smashes into the ring canvas much to the delight of the fans.]

Dante Reed -  WOW what a counter! I don't think Ragnarok saw that coming.

Sebastian Riggs- But can Flash capitalize?!

[The fans cheer him on as The Burner once more goes to the top turnbuckle his sore back slightly slowing him. He looks down at Ragnarok and leaps up flipping into a shooting star press leg drop!]

Dante Reed - Juicy Lucy! Flash Cassidy just hit a fantastic shooting star press, what talent!

Sebastian Riggs - He had one more trick left in him, I think Ragnarok might be done.

[Flash covers Ragnarok.]

…One!

…Two!

…Three!

[DING DING DING!]

Mike Dempsey - Here is your winner “The Burner” Flash Kassidy!

Dante Reed -  After weeks of harassment The Burner Flash Kassidy has got retribution.

Sebastian Riggs- Maybe so, for now! Salvation is the type that holds grudges to the grave. I don’t think this is the end of things for Flash.

Dante Reed - For now, Flash earns another victory of a Salvation member, and he’s proving to be a thorn in their side. Folks, stick around for more action ahead!

Godless Men

November 7th, 2017

Los Angeles, CA (Hilton Checkers Los Angeles)

7:57 p.m.

[The rain comes down outside of the Hilton Hotel in LA. The rain slows many commuters and keeps the rest indoors. A man walks in wearing a nice italian suit and looking sharp. The receptionist adjusts her hair before talking to the man. Cameras throughout the hotel show everything in real time. The man turns and is revealed to be Kelly Godless, chairman and founder of Elysium Pro. A bustling wrestling promotion. This man is a legend within the wrestling business but the receptionist only sees a handsome man with money.]

Hilton Front Desk Receptionist- Hello! How can may I help you?

Kelly Godless- I am here for an interview with a TIME Magazine journalist. I was instructed to meet him here.

[Kelly reaches into the pocket of his sports jacket to retrieve the card. He produces it then sits it on the desk directly in front of the receptionist.]

Hilton Front Desk Receptionist- Yes. Mr. Levi Brumberg has already arrived and they are setting up a small conference room in the back of the hotel for the interview right now.

Kelly Godless- Should I wait?

Hilton Front Desk Receptionist- Of course, not. I will take you there.

[The receptionist leads the way through a doorway she has to unlock with a card key. The pair then travel down a long hallway that leads to another door which requires the card. They end up in the back of the hotel in the smaller conference room of the three inside this establishment. They approach the door and she swipes a different card for this one. The door swings open and the woman nods at Kelly Godless as he enters the small conference room. The door shuts behind him. Cameras are set up in the small room along with folders on the large table in the center of the room. A door in the back of the room leads to a parking garage outside but Godless just takes a seat rather than prowl around the empty room.]

Kelly Godless- Hm.

[Godless gets lost in his own thoughts momentarily when the door to the parking garage swings open. A man rushes into the room while the door slams behind him. Kelly stands up then extends a hand out.]

Kelly Godless- Are you, Levi?

[The man appears to be in his late fifties and wears a kippah for his evident Jewish faith.]

Levi Brumberg- Yes, and you must be the world famous Kelly Godless?

Kelly Godless- Infamous is a more apt term but yes I am Godless.

[Levi reaches out and shakes Kelly’s hand then takes a seat at the desk alongside Godless. Kelly looks at the tags hanging from Brumberg’s neck. “Time” magazine credentials dangle down into the man’s lap.]

Levi Brumberg- I know you are a busy man so let’s get started, shall we?

Kelly Godless- Yes.

[Levi turns on the tape player sitting on the desk then clicks a button on the end to record.]

Levi Brumberg- The world knows about your thriving company Elysium and all about your days in the eWo. Your father was a legend in this business as well. A first family of professional wrestling for sure.

Kelly Godless- he industry is in my blood, yes. My father has since retired.

[Brumberg turns in his seat then reaches on the desk for a stack of papers. He leans back to put a bit of distance between he and Kelly. That’s when Godless realizes Brumberg is wearing solid black gloves. Levi notices the stare.]

Levi Brumberg- I am a germaphobe. I apologize but wearing gloves helps me keep “clean” in my own head. We can back the tape up.

[Kelly nods realizing the phobia is legitimate. Levi then shuffles the papers in front of him on his lap before continuing.]

Levi Brumberg- This interview will be in the January edition of TIME, by the way. Now.. You have done everything in this business from what I gather but one thing.

[Kelly looks perplexed then turns to face Levi.]

Kelly Godless- Tell me.

Levi Brumberg- You Never Found “Salvation”

Kelly Godless- I never wanted salvation...what is this? You’re not from TIME--

[Levi drops the paper in his lap and reveals a stun gun. Godless has no time to react as the prongs shootout from it and nail him across the chest. Both electric prongs pierce the skin leading Brumberg to turn the taser all the way up. Godless shakes in the seat briefly then hits the floor in a pile. The imposter journalist then sits the stun gun down on the table then leans down to Kelly.]

Levi Brumberg- It means you are coming with me…

[The journalist then begins to peel off his face! The hat drops off the back of his head. The skin continues to peel off with help to finally reveal Tommy Crimson. The wrestler was made up to appear like an elderly Jewish TIME journalist by his personal make artist at Fury Studios. Tommy peels the rest of his disguise away. Godless comes to briefly.]

Kelly Godless- Why..?

[Crimson retrieves the stun gun from the table then squats down to Godless.]

Crimson- You are my way into Salvation and Union Battleground. I use you to start the great war.. Don’t you see? It’s beautiful.

[Crimson then presses the button on the gun to shock Godless with the prongs that are still stuck in his chest again. The wrestling legend then drops to the floor once more, completely out. Tommy uses both of Kelly’s arms to drag him toward the back door that leads to the parking garage. He uses a stolen key-card to open the door. Crimson then begins to drag his unconscious kidnap victim toward an old panel van that reads, “LA Church of GOD” down each side. The scene fades out with a bloody palm print and black screen.]

♫

LUX AETERNA BY MEGARAPTOR BEGINS TO PLAY

♫

[A piano can be heard throughout. As it picks up speed, violins come in to compliment. Darkness consumes the arena suddenly then slowly a crimson red haze spills in. “Lux Aeterna” by Megaraptor blasts throughout. The piece of music made famous by Clint Mansell is covered to perfection by the metal instrumental band. Tommy Crimson suddenly struts out across the stage to roaring boos. One of the most hated men in the business of professional wrestling has arrived. Tommy adjusts his infamous human skin and face jacket. The leather shines in the red glow. The song picks up speed as the heavy guitars of Megaraptor come in. Crimson stops at the top of the ramp and holds both arms out from his body. He basks in the negative response.]

Mike Dempsey - The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is a One Night Only Match! Introducing first, standing 6'2" and weighing in tonight at 173 pounds, from Detroit, Michigan, henis a member of Salvation, “The Fury” Tommy Crimson!

[Crimson walks down the ramp knocking signs out of fans hands as he does so. The fans relentlessly boo him for this. Tommy walks by the announce table, carefully he slowly drags three fingers from his left hand across the table top. He then slides in the ring then leaps back to his feet. Crimson holds both arms out from his body then spins to further taunt the crowd. The lights come back on as The Fury waits for the bell to sound.]

Dante Reed - The Fury is ready, representing Salvation by being undefeated in four straight matches. Plus some questionable rumors of some type of ritual he took part in.

Sebastian Riggs - I’m a little creeped out by the whole Salvation group, so I wouldn't put it past Tommy if he did something sick to prepare for this match. I can not say I am a fan of this guy outside the ring, but he has been disposing of his opponents with, fury.

["Short Change Hero" by The Heavy begins to play through the speakers and the lights in the arena simultaneously dim down. Smoke begins to rise from the top of the stage and appearing on the screen above are the following words; YOUR HERO and MINE.]

Mike Dempsey - And his opponent, standing 6’3” and weighing in at 227 pounds, from Brooklyn, New York, Your Hero, and Mine.. Mark Storm!

♫

THIS AIN’T NO PLACE FOR NO HERO

THIS AIN’T NO PLACE FOR NO BETTER MAN

THIS AIN’T NO PLACE FOR NO HERO

TO CALL HOME

♫

[At this point, Storm is by the edge of the ring; allowing a smile to embed on his face before he jumps onto the apron and holds onto the ropes, using them to help himself up onto the turnbuckle. He's grinning from ear to ear, soaking in the rest of the boo's and cheers coming from the audience, shaking his head sideways as he lowers it, before jumping into the ring. Walking over to his designated corner and hoisting himself up onto the second ropes, a smirk upon his lips as he holds his arms up; his theme song slowly diminishing.]

Dante Reed - He is “Your Hero, and Mine” and has traveled to Union Battleground representing the GWD as their American Justice Champion to challenge “The Fury” Tommy Crimson here tonight.

Sebastian Riggs - Mark Storm may be everybody's hero, but he’s also gotta be out of his mind to come to foreign territory and take on a disturbed soul like Crimson. That man is a walking Horror Show!

Dante Reed - You would have to take it up with Mr. Storm because that is what he proclaims to be. The fans in the Indira Gandhi Arena sure do seem to be giving him a hero's reception. I wonder if he will perform any heroic actions tonight for us.

Sebastian Riggs - He better with a name like that.

Dante Reed - Alright folks, both fighters are in their corners. The referee checks off with each man one last time and he calls for the bell! This match is underway!

[DING!]

[Crimson and Mark stare across to one another. When the bell tolls and the two competitors approach one of another. Storm turn his head away from his opponent and hold up his hand toward Crimson; a gesture of talk to the hand, before turning his head back to his opponent, and transitioning his flat hand into a gun. Before Mark can pull the metaphorical trigger, Crimson steps into Mark's fingers while maintaining an unnerving amount of eye contact with him. Mark swings around behind Tommy and wraps his arms around The Fury's waist. He attempts a German Suplex, but Crimson elbows Mark in the jaw getting free of his grip. Tommy grabs a hold of Mark's left wrist and yanks him forward into a Short Arm Lariat. Mark is jolted down to the mat, but rolls to his stomach and than back to his feet with fluency before blocking a punch from Tommy and hitting a European uppercut to counter. Crimson ducks under a spinning back kick from Storm.]

Dante Reed - Odd start, and each man is feeling out the other. Right now it seems neither are strangers to the striking game in this opening exchange.

Sebastian Riggs - Head games. Lots of back and forth strikes, but let's see some impact!

[Tommy Crimson wraps his hands around Mark's head after evading him, but Your Hero and Mine is fast enough to counter with and open palm strike. The Fury is taken back for a split second allowing Mark Storm to follow up with a high kick to Tommy's chest causing him to stagger back, but the Fury is able to keep his balance. Mark with a forearm strike to Crimson's head and than another right after he Irish whips Crimson towards the opposite turnbuckle, but Crimsons reverses it sending Mark into the corner instead. Mark grabs his stinging chest and falls back, Tommy goes for a standing diving Knee, but Mark rolls out of the way. He staggers up to his feet still holding his chest where he hit the turnbuckle. Tommy rolled up to his knees in the corner holding the knee he'd just slammed off the mat missing Mark Storm. The two of them are locked in a stare before charging at one another and locking up with a collar and elbow tie up. Tommy pushes Mark's arms to his sides and thrust his forehead hard off of Mark Storm's!]

Sebastian Riggs- Tommy Crimson has used these headbutts before to viciously assault his foes. Mark storm blocks the fourth!

Dante Reed - We have seen The Fury's hard head in action before and Mark Storm is feeling that.

[Mark blocks, the fourth headbutt and kicks Tommy away from him for separation. He seems a little dizzy as his foot sets on the mat. Tommy is relentless though he hops up while pressing Mark's head against his knees, delivering a Falling double knee facebreaker. Mark falls back onto the mat holding his head as he rolls over to his stomach and painfully taps his toe against the canvas. Tommy stands up taking his time to evaluate things, he lets Mark get to his knees before swinging his body's momentum around and striking Mark with a discus back elbow. Your Hero and Mine grabs his nose and quickly gets his hands up to absorb the shock of a right jab. The Fury transitions into a stiff kick to the right leg, and than to Mark's gut, but he catches Tommy's foot. Mark's able to counter with a European uppercut followed by a timely placed Enziguri! Both Mark and Tommy fall down the the mat after the crack of Mark's foot connecting echoes throughout the arena. Tommy looks up like he is drunk. His instincts take over and he crawl on his belly towards the ropes. Mark first got up rushing towards the opposite corner turning ready for Tommy as if he was following him. It takes only a second for Mark to see The Fury on the ropes pulling himself to his feet. The severity of this window sinks in as Mark rushes at Tommy catching him with a lariat out of nowhere, flipping Tommy clean over onto his stomach. Mark is on his hands and knees breathing a little harder now and pushes Tommy over covering him.]

... One!

... Two!

... Kick out! Crimson gets the shoulder up!

Sebastian Riggs - What a lariat from Mark Storm!

Dante Reed - Crimson never had a chance to brace for it, but it still was not enough to put away The Fury.

[Mark stands him up and goes for another lariat, but Crimson ducks his head. He grabs a hold of Mark from behind before he is able to turn around throwing him backwards with great intensity delivering a release German Suplex. Both he and Storm are on the mat, but The Fury rest on one knee keeping a cold glare on his dazed opponent.]

Sebastian Riggs - Tommy Crimson with a release German suplex to counter Mark Storm's second lariat. Seems The Fury is not able to capitalize though.

Dante Reed - He is capitalizing he is regaining his breath and calculating his next move. He is not owned by his emotions like most men Sebastian. I would say he is almost... possessed.

[As Mark stands up Tommy strikes, he hits him with a back hand chop and a jab combo. Storm wobbles back, but when he feels the turnbuckles behind him drops down and rolls to evade Tommy. The two both grab one another at the same time and start drilling each other with strong punches trying to dig into their opponent's face with each shot. Mark's face is getting swollen as Tommy's starts to bruise, The Fury bends down and sticks his right arm out before popping back up ramming his arm into Mark's chest looking like a knife cutting through butter as the two of them collide into the canvas. Tommy not even phased by his heavy breaths rolls on top of the belly down Mark Storm. He traps Mark's arm between his knees and Mark springs to life realizing what is happening. He tries punching his way out of it, but Tommy delivers a skull cracking headbutt. He than hooks his hands around Mark's forehead. The two of them tetter as Mark's free hand is clawing at Tommy Crimson's fingers while he applies pressure to the Crippler Crossface. Mark groans in pain, but continues to fight to elevate the pressure and grip of Tommy. His fingers slip and Tommy nearly bent Mark back to his own heels, but Mark doesn't give up!]

Dante Reed - Storm isn't giving up, he is edging his way towards those ropes. I am not sure he will be able to take the punishment that this submission hold from The Fury is inflicting right now.

Sebastian Riggs - He said he is a hero and right now he is trying to grit it out.

[Mark's finger tips reach out grazing the bottom rope, Tommy pulls harder on his head seeing it. Mark screams, but uses the pain to push forward giving him one more inch for grabbing the bottom rope tightly. He nearly passes out from the pain as Tommy doesn't release the hold. The Ref gives him and warning and begins a fast count to four before Crimson releases Storm.]

Dante Reed - Close call there for Mark Storm. Your hero and Mine is still in this!

Sebastian Riggs - BUT ... has the damage been done?

[Tommy pulls the tired Mark Storm up onto the second rope and begins choking him once more provoking a warning from the Ref. He to the opposite side of the ring and than back at Mark preforming a leapfrog Body Guillotine. Crimson is on the outside of the ring, but quickly slides back in as Mark falls backwards. Tommy circles him while Mark pushes himself back up. Tommy helps him the rest of the way wrapping his arms around him from behind than releasing to hop up pulling both his knees into Mark's back while pulling him down with him. Mark curls up as he hits the mat the pain in his back searing through him. As he is down on the mat cringing though the pain from the backstabber Tommy ascends the turnbuckle, Mark pulls himself to his knees using the ropes. Tommy has him lined up, the fans can't believe that Mark doesn't see him! Tommy leaps attempting a Dragonrana, but Storm dives out of the way. He hurts himself a little as he landed on the mat, but Tommy Crimson landed on the canvas finding only air where Mark had been.]

Dante Reed - Storm evaded him! Tommy Crimson I think was going for a Dragonrana there Bas.

Sebastian Riggs - It doesn't matter what he was going for he missed. If Storm wants to win this is his chance!

[Mark gasp for air, but manages to make it to his feet well before Tommy. He grabs a hold of him hitting a Deadlift Suplex. The second wind is starting to come to Mark as he once more gets back to his feet before Crimson this time facing his back he delivers a german suplex to Tommy. He keeps his grip around him as they hit the mat and rolls around bringing Tommy back to his feet for a second german Suplex. The fans pop seeing the display of Storm's strength. He repeats this for a third and a fourth german suplex, him and Tommy are both spent as Mark barely lifts him up hitting a fifth german on Crimson. The two men lie on the mat motionless with a dazed look in their eyes. The fans don't seem to keen on The Fury as they start to cheer and chant for Mark Storm. He stands up feeding off their emotions and meets Tommy at a vertical base delivering a Sitout Face Slam he rolls The Fury over and hooks the leg.]

... One!

... Two!

... THR-- NO! Crimson KICKSOUT!

Dante Reed - Tommy Crimson gets the kickout. My goodness, FIVE German suplexes! I have no idea how Storm found the mustard to hit that sitout face slam on top of them, but even that was still not enough to put Tommy Crimson away.

Sebastian Riggs - Mark didn't just damage Tommy he is now wore out, I think it might have been a big mistake, but we'll see.

[Fans can't believe it Tommy Crimson is still not finished. Mark Storm stands up desperation sets in and seems to turn into aggravation. He watches Tommy find his vertical base begging him to stand up before rushing towards him Tommy was waiting for it though, he ducks the attempted Shoot 2 Kill! Storm's bicycle knee that misses Tommy, and Crimson hits him with an atomic drop and like lightening follows it up with his OWN sit-out facebuster! The crowd enters a state of dread as they start to boo The Fury. He doesn't seem to be phased at all as he climbs the turnbuckle looking down at Mark. He takes a few breaths before hitting his 630 splash his body colliding hard into Mark's back. Tommy holds his stomach, but than pushed Mark onto his back and laid over him hooking the leg.]

... One!

... Two!

... Three! Mark still tries to kick out, but it is too late.

[DING DING DING!]

Mike Dempsey - Ladies and gentleman, here is your winner, “The Fury” Tommy Crimson!

Dante Reed - The Fury has defeated the Hero!

Sebastian Riggs - The Fury feeds off competitive spirits Dante, that might have been the downfall of Your Hero tonight.

Dante Reed - Maybe Sebastian, either way what a fight!

Rodney and Elina Meet

[The backstage area would have been quite quiet if not for the click of the heels of Handsome Tony’s Louis Vuitton loafers. Near the craft services area, Rodney Stillwater could be seen, minding his own business. Handsome Tony, dressed to the nines in a custom Brooks Brothers three piece suit, seemed unafraid to get his hands dirty as he stepped right up to Rodney, getting his attention promptly.]

Handsome Tony - Mister Stillwater! I half expected you to be lurking in the rafters somewhere searching for your metaphysical self or some related fluffy whatever-you-want-to-call-it. You had some questions about my intentions, or purpose, I’m here to be an open book!

[Rodney Stillwater, who had taken up a cup of sweet tea, kept his focus there. After Tony said his words, it seemed that he acknowledged the presence of Handsome Tony. His head was the first thing to move, an action reflective of his attitude towards the charismatic manager. A moment of annoyance crossed his phlegmatic features, but soon subsided, knowing that Tony wasn’t going anywhere any time soon.]

Rodney Stillwater - There’s no point in doing much of that, especially when I need to be here in attendance.

[His humorless tone made the joke either hard to place or non-existent.]

Rodney Stillwater - It’s amusing that you went to find me. Where each word that you’ll speak will only give reason to yourself, but not to who I wish to speak to. Unless your actions against me were of your own doing, and only that, then what point do I have to speak to you?

[He returned back to the cup of sweet tea.]

Handsome Tony - Seriously, wow. I thought you called me out on social media, but if you’d prefer to wax poetic, or whatever that is you’re doing while drinking your juice, I’ll step aside.

[Handsome Tony, while being handsome and obviously quite appealing for the cameramen, opted to step aside, allowing the starchild herself to step out from behind him.]

[Yes, believe it or not, Elina is smaller than Tony. Who knew?]

[Elina stepped into the open, eyeballing Rodney for a moment, before she stepped past Rodney, then turned to face him. Rodney found himself ‘surrounded’ by Elina and her ‘manager’.]

Elina Cartel - My ‘agent’ has a habit of assuming the world revolves around him. Apologies. Now, we are face to face.

[Rodney’s lack of attention was fixed when Elina came into the picture. He turned to her, but he made sure to give Tony a nonverbal indication that he was watching him.]

Rodney Stillwater - Now that you’re both here, I’ll ask upfront. Why did you choose to interfere in my match? You tainted an excellent bout with your presence.

[Rodney shot Tony a cold stare.]

Rodney Stillwater - But I hardly believe he did it for any reason, but you, lady Starchild.

[Tony cleared his throat, but Elina nor Rodney paid him attention.]

Elina Cartel - I don’t need help, nor do I need distractions. That’s all Tony. He wanted to size you up and I have no control over him. You and I, however, we have unfinished business. Whelan doesn’t matter. Chu doesn’t matter. This Battlefield doesn’t matter. Just the two of us. The soldiers.

[Tony cleared his throat harder.]

Tony Chu - It wasn’t my intention for you to release your hold Rodney. You seem so intense all of the time, I assumed I could just gaze upon your glory, I didn’t expect you to make such a rookie mistake. Rodney...Rookie...Rookney? Hmm.

[Elina and Rodney took a moment to glare at Tony, but neither made a move. Tony just smirked.]

Elina Cartel - Our business aside, I would like to offer my apologies for...Him… Take it as you wish.

Rodney Stillwater - Ah… Well, your answer…

[Rodney shot Tony another cold stare.]

Rodney Stillwater - Has been noted. I suggest you choose your company wiser, Lady Starchild.

[A grimace grew across Elina's face as she stepped away from Rodney and walked away. Tony followed her.]

Handsome Tony - Toodles!

[Rodney watched as they left, in silent thought with a knowing look upon his face.]

Sebastian Riggs- Welcome back to Crown of the King Cobra.

Dante Reed- Up next, we will see The Firing Squad versus The Battalions Champions.

Sebastian Riggs- The Outliers have thus far had The Firing Squads number. Noah and Reyes have even pointed the blame at Union Battleground referees.

[The Battalions Championships hang above the ring. On three different sides of the ring stands a ladder]

Dante Reed- There will be a clear cut winner in this one. You must use a ladder to retrieve the championships that are hanging high above the ring.

Mike Dempsey- The following contest is a ladder match for the Union Battleground Battalions Championships. The titles are suspended above the ring with a winner coming only by being the first team to take them down using a ladder. Introducing first, at a combined weight of 546 lbs, the team of Noah Reigner and Rumble Reyes, THE FIRING SQUAD!

♫

"FIRST PERSON SHOOTER" BY CELLDWELLER HITS

♫

[The lights go out, leaving the audience in wonder as they cheer anyway, nothing ever boring happens when the lights go out. When the tron comes alive, and the music hits, it's a sound of a drum coupled with some static. Various guns can be heard, mixed together into an electro-esque mix, with the same drums, and flashes of actual guns going off in the video. By this point, the audience already knows who is coming, and have already began to display their reactions of love or hate. After the first 20 seconds or so, the song stops for a quick second. When it kicks back in, more lights kick on all over the place, spotlights going every which way. From behind the black curtain, both Noah Reigner and "Rumble" Reyes - the Firing Squad - step out. They pause on either side of the ramp, making rifles with their arms and trying to time it at the mix of the song. As expected, Noah is a bit more hyped for the match, making his way down to the ring first. Of course, it's just Rumble's natural response to everything, he seems to only have one emotion as he slowly walks down to the ring with this arms crossed across his chest. Noah slides under the bottom rope, jumping up onto the second rope as Rumble is getting down to the ramp. Reyes takes the stairs, naturally, pushing the top rope down and walking over. All the while, Reigner has been pretending to gun down the audience. Once Reyes gets into the ring, he stands in the center, facing the side Noah is on. Together they pose again with "rifles", before Reigner hops down.]

Sebastian Riggs- The number one contenders look ready to go here tonight. This team has come so close in the past.

Dante Reed- This could be their final chance to dethrone the champions.

Sebastian Riggs- Speaking of.

Mike Dempsey- And their opponents… Weighing in at a combined 345 lbs., They are your Battalion Champions, The Outliers!

[The house lights come down and the audience can't help but rise to their feet. Lighters pop up everywhere, the flames flickering in the darkness like neurons firing in the brain. They're joined by the neon glow of hundreds of cell phone screens hoisted into the air, emitting soft halos of light that further illuminate the arena. Excited murmurs ripple through the crowd amidst dissonant waves of ambient fuzz. It sounds like crackling arcs of electricity climbing up a giant Jacob's Ladder. After a gradual build in its intensity and the addition of low-frequency rumbles…]

Dante Reed- The champions are methodical and work together like a well oiled machine.

Sebastian Riggs- The contenders want to shoot that engine up with metaphorical “guns”.

[The building is suddenly flooded by a vivid rush of colors. A macabre clash of contrasting hues: lush magenta and candy blue. A rich, heavily saturated lighting scheme reminiscent of Mario Bava or Dario Argento stains the arena. As the crowd basks in the swirl of light, the towering video monitor slowly fades in with images that are trapped in limbo between feelings and reality. A kind of cinematic petri dish with a thematic fixation on dystopian nightmares and hostile extraterrestrial encounters. They attempt to put you in the desert of your consciousness while it writhes within the meat sack that is your body. We’re not talking screensaver fodder here, either--imagine blackened veins being tugged from some sickly creature’s neck wound and you’ll get an idea of the eye candy on display. Why not a human figure that looks primordial and evolutionarily incomplete ascending through an almost blinding inferno to either enlightenment, release, damnation or maybe all three. The crowd stands there with the images glowing in their eyes. Stendhal Syndrome. A visual bludgeoning that is dreamlike, unsettling and mysterious.]

Sebastian Riggs- What a visual! The champions are here to defend the titles against worthy opponents. Can’t ask for much more than that, Dante.

Dante Reed- Indeed.

[Then, without warning, the music hits and the PA system practically detonates. Incinerating, razor-sharp sheets of sound reignite the entire audience who erupt with cheers: it's The Red Chord's "It Came From Over There" heaving back and forth between groove and fury effortlessly. Relentlessly. The barrage of bowel-churning death metal grind builds up to a powder keg-like crescendo when the synth finally explodes into a psychedelic moog pattern courtesy of Sigh’s Mirai Kawashima. In that instant, a lone spotlight catches The Outliers cutting through the haze of fog and echo. They’re submerged in blue and red light, more shadow than flesh. They pause to point at the battalion titles hanging above the ring , exuding a playful menace. They continue to prowl toward the ring, wading through the sea of people clutching at the titles and patting them on the back.]

Sebastian Riggs- These two are unpredictable and charismatic. How will they do in a ladder match?

Dante Reed- We will find out.

[One by one, The Outliers hop over the fence and roll into the ring. They circle along the ropes with an ominous eye-of-the-storm calm until Sawtooth Grin starts contorting his rail-thin body into a series of strange, unnerving positions--his spindly silhouette seems downright inhuman. Hewhocorrupts is twisting and twitching in front of the digital images, his bony shoulders undulating in the shadows, creeping out of the dark. By the end, they're entangled around the ringpost like a pair of raw nerves and coursing with current like a frayed wire. The Outliers stare into the camera with the focus of a dagger plowing its way through thick heavy walls. The Kubrick stare. A look known to sour wells and make women barren. A look that would burn right through you. Gasoline rainbows and road flares].

Dante Reed- Both teams are staring down the three tall ladders on the outside of the ring.

[The referee comes in to stand directly underneath the dangling championships above the ring. He explains the rules to each team. Hewhocorrupts and Rumble Reyes get in the ring to begin the match. Sawtooth and Reigner go to their respective corners while the referee calls for the bell.]

[DING!]

[The bell echoes throughout leading both men to circle each other inside the ring. Hewhocorrupts strikes suddenly and both men lock arms. Rumble gets the upper hand with his size advantage fairly quickly. Reyes scoops up Hewhocorrupts into a bear hug! Grin stomps on the apron in his corner while his partner is squeezed by the larger Rumble Reyes.]

Sebastian Riggs- Reyes is putting the squeeze on Hewhocorrupts!

Dante Reed- What’s he doing now?

[The two wrestlers are tangled up in the bear hug while facing each other. Reyes suddenly drops back with a belly to belly release suplex! Hewhocorrupts bounces halfway across the ring. Reyes rushes toward his fallen opponent after quickly leaping up to his feet. Hewhocorrupts reaches out and tags in Sawtooth Grin, who leaps forward catching a charging Rumble with a huge headbutt! The solid lick sends the big man back! Grin glides through the ropes and is able to catch his staggered larger opponent with a double knee jawbreaker! Rumble rolls out of the ring leading Grin to do the same. Noah Reigner leaps down off the apron to check on Reyes. Hewhocorrupts also leaps down off the apron in his respective corner. He and Sawtooth then go straight for the ladders.]

Sebastian Riggs- The Outliers are already going for the ladders while Firing Squad are discussing the game plan on the opposite side of the ring.

Dante Reed- Now Sawtooth and Hewhocorrupts both have a ladder and want to bring them into the ring!

[The Outliers both snatch a ladder up then fold in properly so that it will slide easily beneath the bottom rope. Noah helps Reyes back to his feet before both men slide back into the ring. All four men end up facing each other down standing amongst both ladders that are laid out across the mat.]

Dante Reed- Who will strike first!?

[Both teams explode at each other. Reyes and Sawtooth begin swapping blows as does Hewhocorrupts and Noah Reigner! They crowd gets fired up as they fight it out while the championships continue to dangle overhead.]

Sebastian Riggs- They are brawling!

[Noah uppercuts Hewhocorrupts leading him to fall back and get tripped up on one of the ladders. Sawtooth pushes Reyes and he trips over a ladder too. Reigner kicks one of the ladders to the side causing it to slide underneath the bottom rope and out onto the apron. Reigner gets ahold of Grin then lifts him up into a suplex! Both men crash down onto the ladder in a pile of pain.]

Dante Reed- The ladder is already inflicting damage in this one, ladies and gents.

Sebastian Riggs- There is no way to control a match like this. Just let them fight it out until someone nabs those titles.

[Hewhocorrupts gets back to his feet and Rumble Reyes notices this immediately. He charges at Hewhocorrupts and is careful to leap over the laid out ladder. He clotheslines the outlier out of the ring but goes over the top rope along with him. Both men bounce off the apron and land out onto the outside floor.]

Sebastian Riggs- Reigner is the only man still on his feet for the moment.

[Reigner rolls Sawtooth off the top of the ladder then hoists it up. He carefully stands the ladder up then begins to climb. Sawtooth doesn’t move during this but begins to stir slightly as Noah gets to the 2nd step on the ladder. Reyes and Hewhocorrupts swap blows on the outside of the ring after both men get back to their feet. Rumble attempts to irish whip his opponent into the ring steps but Hewhocorrupts holds on and counters with his own irish whip sending the large wrestler shoulder first into the steel steps!]

Dante Reed- Noah is climbing the ladder! He’s already on the fourth step.

[Reigner continues to climb up the ladder toward the two championships hanging above the ring. Hewhocorrupts realizes this and quickly slides back into the ring. Noah pays no attention to anything going on around him only the two shiney belts overhead. Hewhocorrupts rocks the ladder from below suddenly! Noah kicks down at him but is too high now on the ladder to reach. Hewhocorrupts pushes the ladder off sending Reigner for a huge fall to the outside floor!]

Sebastian Riggs- What a fall! Noah is now out here in front of our table not doing so well.

Dante Reed- You wouldn’t be doing that well either if you fell from that high.

[The ladder hits the top rope after falling over and bounces in place. Sawtooth gets to one knee while his partner stands the ladder back up. Hewhocorrupts carefully places it in the center of the ring directly below the titles.]

Dante Reed- Now The Outliers are all alone in the ring.

[Hewhocorrupts begins to climb the ladder while Sawtooth watches guard to allow him to do so undisturbed. Rumble gets Noah back to his feet on the outside then both men slide back into the ring. Noah rushes up to Grin, who catches Reigner with a nice leaping uppercut! Rumble Reyes climbs up the ladder without hesitation. Hewhocorrupts and Reyes meet at the top of the ladder on two different sides. They begin throwing punches just underneath the dangling championships. The ladder begins to rock as they continue fight it out on top of it.]

Sebastian Riggs- Now Noah and Sawtooth are fighting on the outside of the ring while their partners fight for the prize at the top of the ladder!

Dante Reed- That ladder is rocking and rolling though, Riggs.

[Grin and Reigner started in the ring fighting and after a clothesline over the top rope have spilled into the outside to continue what they began in the ring. Noah nails Sawtooth with a solid palm thrust to the throat! Then another! Reigner then begins throwing shoot kicks at Sawtooth, who attempts in vain to cover up from the shots. The ladder in the center of the ring rocks back and forth as Hewhocorrupts and Rumble swap licks at the tip top. The ladder finally sways too far and tips over. Both men fall from high up and to the outside of the ring. Sawtooth Grin and Noah Reigner are in the landing zone totally unaware. The falling Reyes and Hewhocorrupts nails their partners on the outside and all four men end up down on the outside floor!]

Dante Reed- Everyone is down!

Sebastian Riggs- This is anyone’s match to win at this point.

[Sawtooth begins to stir while the rest have yet to move. Reyes begins to stir and rolls over toward the ring steps. Hewhocorrupts and Noah are yet to move. Rumble gets to the ring steps then leans on them for a moment, briefly resting his head on the middle step and up against the top one. Grin notices this and makes his way to the only remaining standing ladder next to the entrance ramp. He folds it up then hoists the large ladder up on his shoulder. Sawtooth then takes off in a mad dash at Reyes while aiming the end of the ladder at his opponents head. At the last possible moment, Rumble moves his head out of the way to avoid potential disaster.]

Sebastian Riggs- Hewhocorrupts is alive as is Noah Reigner!

[Sawtooth missed with the ladder to the head on Rumble then loses track of him. Grin suddenly gets pulled down from behind! He ends up on his back looking up still holding the ladder across his chest. Rumble Reyes then drops a leg drop down across the ladder and Sawtooth Grin!]

Dante Reed- Did you see that! He may have broken Grin in two with that one!

Sebastian Riggs- Reyes entire body weight with a steel ladder between that and you doesn’t make for a comfortable situation.

[Reyes holds the back of his legs after getting back to his feet from the impact on the ladder. Sawtooth got the worse of that exchange. Noah Reigner gets to his feet again then looks around for Hewhocorrupts but he’s back in the ring! Noah slides in the ring leading Hewhocorrupts to hop down off the first step of the ladder. Reigner goes for Hewhocorrupts but gets whipped into the corner instead! Before Noah can react, Hewhocorrupts is halfway up the ladder then quickly rocks it forward! Reigner is propped up in the corner when Hewhocorrupts rides the ladder down on top of Noah!]

Sebastian Riggs- Hewhocorrupts just tried to kill Noah Reigner with that ladder.

Dante Reed- He rocked it over then rode it to squash Noah in the corner. Clever.

[Hewhocorrupts immediately sets up the ladder while Reigner rolls out of the ring. Noah quickly gets his bearings back about him then turns his focus back to the ring. Sawtooth and Reyes continue to battle on the outside. Reigner smiles up at Hewhocorrupts then begins to help Rumble beat on Grin. The Fire Squad get Sawtooth down on the floor then take turns stomping him. Hewhocorrupts watches on from the tip top of the ladder now. He knows Reigner is doing this to bait him off the ladder and accepts the dare without hesitation. Hewhocorrupts dives off the top of the ladder in the ring aiming for The Firing Squad on the outside. Reyes and Reigner look up just in time to catch a cross body from the falling Hewhocorrupts! All four men are down again on the outside floor.]

Sebastian Riggs- That may have been foolish on The Outliers part.

Dante Reed- What?

Sebastian Riggs- Hewhocorrupts could have won the match right there by grabbing those belts.

Dante Reed- He saw Sawtooth getting double teamed on the outside, Riggs. He chose to save Grin rather than win.

Sebastian Riggs- May be costly before this is over.

[All four men begin to stir while the crowd eats it up. Reyes stumbles to his feet first. The crossbody dive took almost as much out Hewhocorrupts than The Firing Squad. Sawtooth rolls to his feet then slides back into the ring. Rumble gets back to his feet then looks down at Hewhocorrupts with real anger in his eyes. Reyes waits until gets back to his feet then charges at Hewhocorrupts! Rumble picks up the unsuspecting outlier then drives him forward toward the security barrier full speed ahead. Reyes uses his strength to drive Hewhocorrupts through the security barrier! Both wrestlers spill out into the crowd.]

Dante Reed- These men are trying to kill each other. Plain and simple. Each team wants to murder the other in some creative manner.

Sebastian Riggs- I can dig that.

[Sawtooth sets up the only ladder in the ring. He carefully lines it up as Noah Reigner stalks him from behind with an evil smirk across his face. Grin climbs the ladder aiming for The Outliers coveted Battalion Championship belts. Reigner patiently waits while his opponent climbs the ladder and just before he reaches the top, Noah climbs up right behind Sawtooth in a hurry! Grin turns but Reigner is on him before he can react. Noah slides his head underneath Sawtooth’s right arm. He aims to back body drop Grin off the top of the ladder. His opponent does not cooperate with this plan whatsoever. Sawtooth wraps his right arm tightly around Noah’s neck in a sitting position on the ladder. Grin then leaps off taking Reigner with him for a high impact one armed bulldog! The ladder falls then bounces on the top rope for a moment. Sawtooth gets back to his feet and quickly searches for a ladder when he finds one. Reyes slams the edge of a ladder flush against Grin’s face out of nowhere! The shot busts him open immediately!]

Dante Reed- What a shot! Did you see that bulldog? What a match!

Sebastian Riggs- This one has been action packed with neither team giving an inch.

[Reyes tosses the ladder to the mat after the bloody exchange. Noah shakes his head on his hands and knees then gets back up to both feet. Hewhocorrupts is still on the outside of the ring but has made his way to the announcers table. He is laid out across it recovering as quickly as he possibly can. Noah Reigner notices this immediately after getting back to his feet. Reigner looks at Reyes then up at the belts. They nod at each other sets up the ladder close to the ropes then climbs up each step slowly while Reyes sets up another ladder that was laid out on the apron from earlier directly underneath the dangling titles. Noah gets to the top of his ladder out from Reyes. Reigner dives off the top of the tall ladder from inside the ring. Dante and Sebastian scatter from behind the announce table in a hurry. Reigner pumps his body in the air aiming for a frog splash! Flashes throughout capture the moment forever as Noah nails Hewhocorrupts and both men go through the announcer’s with zero resistance.]

Sebastian Riggs- Down goes our table! Damnit!

Dante Reed- One of the hazards of the business we are in, I’m afraid.

[Reyes climbs up the ladder he set up moments before. He gets about halfway up when it begins to rock. Rumble looks down to see Sawtooth pushing the ladder over! The large wrestler falls off the ladder and hits the top rope throat first! He falls back into the ring holding his throat attempting to breath.]

Dante Reed- Rumble Reyes just got his air supply cut off by the top rope.

Sebastian Riggs- Grin’s entire face is covered in blood and he’s smiling. The Outliers are one of a kind.

[Reigner begins to stir on the outside after the high impact frog splash from the ladder to the outside left him in a bit of a daze. Hewhocorrupts shakes his head then tries in vain to get up with little success. Reyes grasps at his throat still with both hands still unable to breath. Sawtooth sets the ladder back up then begins to climb up toward the belts.]

Sebastian Riggs- Both of these teams are looking drained. Our table is now demolished and has left both Hewhocorrupts and Reigner struggling in it’s remains.

Dante Reed- Saw is bleeding badly now from that cut on his head. It doesn’t seem to bother him because however as he climbs up the ladder.

[Reyes finally catches his breath then gets up to both feet. He reaches up and takes hold of Grin’s left foot! Sawtooth holds onto the ladder with both hands then desperately tries to kick Rumble off with his free right leg. Reyes catches that leg also with his free hand. He then pulls Sawtooth Grin off the ladder leading him to hit his chin on a ladder step and bite his tongue to the point of bringing blood.]

Dante Reed- This match has turned bloody.

[Grin touches his mouth with both hands. He then holds them out from his face to see the blood now on his hands. Reyes snarls at him leading Sawtooth to rub the blood in both of the big man’s eyes! No rules means it’s legal and Rumble is blind now. Grin takes hold of his larger opponent by the back of the neck then slams his head with real force into the side of the steel ladder! The shot busts Reyes forehead wide open.]

Sebastian Riggs- Sawtooth looks like a serial killer with all the blood and now Reyes is down for the count.

Dante Reed- Look out!

[Sawtooth turns his attention back to the ladder but is cradled up by Reigner out of nowhere! Noah lifts Grin high into the air then drives him into the mat for a ring rattling spinebuster. Sawtooth hits the mat then wipes the blood from his face. Reigner lines the ladder up then begins to climb once more. Hewhocorrupts has gotten up and slid back into the ring unbeknownst to Noah Reigner.]

Dante Reed- Rumble Reyes is down on the outside now bleeding from his head as is Sawtooth Grin inside the ring. Hewhocorrupts has took some brutal licks in this one but now is on the prowl!

Sebastian Riggs- I don’t think Noah will be denied here tonight. He looks like a man on a mission. Just look what he did to our table.

[Reigner climbs up the ladder not paying attention to anything going on around him. He has a sole focus. That being the Union Battleground Battalion Championship belts dangling above the ring. Hewhocorrupts climbs up the ladder from the opposite side of Noah. Reigner notices him as the ladder rocks below his feet and Hewhocorrupts meets Noah at the top of the ladder. Reyes rolls back in the ring but is cut off by Sawtooth, who tosses him through the ropes then gives chase. Noah and Hewhocorrupts reach up for the belts and each man takes hold of the solid steel ring that holds the belts. The ladder begins to sway beneath both men. Reigner kicks at Hewhocorrupts and nearly falls off the ladder.]

Sebastian Riggs- Grin stopped Reyes from helping Noah and now its he and Hewhocorrupts fighting it out at the top of the ladder!

Dante Reed- They are going at it!

[The two men swap blows on top of the ladder relentlessly. Hewhocorrupts uses stiff punches while Noah swings wide with his. Hewhocorrupts slings a knee forward and up! He catches Noah in the face with the solid knee shot! The ladder rocks from then falls leading Hewhocorrupts to reach up and take hold of the tag team championships as the ladder falls over. Reigner hits the mat flat on his back then the ladder falls bouncing off the top rope then down on top of Noah to add insult to unlucky injury. Hewhocorrupts holds onto the belts while dangling in the air. He then uses his upper body strength to hold on with one hand while undoing the belts with the other. After snapping them free he free falls to the mat holding the two titles close to his heart.]

[DING! DING! DING!]

Mike Dempsey- Here is your winners, and still Battalion Champions, The Outliers!

[Sawtooth Grin helps up his partner, Hewhocorrupts. Both of The Outliers hold the titles up as the referee stands between them to hold one of each men’s hand up high in victory. The Firing Squad can’t believe it while The Outliers hold the titles up at them to taunt openly.]

Sebastian Riggs- What a match. These four men just put on a match for the ages. This crowd should be pleased with that effort.

Dante Reed- I agree wholeheartedly. The Firing Squad just need to hit the drawing board to think up a fresh plan. They have nothing to be ashamed of. They took the champions to the limit here in India.

Sebastian Riggs- The taste of defeat can be a bitter one. The Firing Squad are a top tag team anywhere in this world. The Outliers just seem to have their number as of late. Never give up, never surrender.

Dante Reed- What? Nevermind. We will be right back with more Crown of the King Cobra presented by Battleground Network and Union Battleground!

Sebastian Riggs- Don’t touch that remote!

The Time is Now

[We fade into Axel Graves walking backstage. He turns a corner, and looks to be heading towards his office.]

“I think it’s time.”

[Axel stops abruptly, turning his head to the source of the statement. Leaning against the wall is Dolan Farson, dressed in a nice suit, his hair spiked a little. His eyes are focused, though.]

Dolan Farson - Emery Layton likes to brag about walking all over the world and defending her Trench War Championship. But the fact is, we’ve been walking all over the world making sure she keeps the title. And now, I think the time for talking is over, Mr. Graves.

[Axel smiles and appears to be putting some thought into what Farson has just said.]

Dolan Farson - My client wants a match, now. We’ve done what we said we would do, and made the Trench War Championship a prestigious title, we’ve built Emery Layton into being your most respected title holder. The Mercenary wants a match, and wants it soon. I feel that we’ve earned it.

[Axel still doesn’t respond, staring at Farson—perhaps just to see what else he has to say.]

Dolan Farson - Besides… this is your next step to gaining ratings. You’ve done an outstanding job thus far in putting Union Battleground on the map. But, even so, I think it’s time to pass the baton, so to speak, and let my client and I to lift this company onto our shoulders and take it to a new level. My client will not only make your main events, he will BE your main event.

[Farson stares at the silent Axel for a long time, letting it sink in.]

Dolan Farson - Think about it, Mr. Graves. We’ll be waiting.

Commercial

Spoils of War

[A large table sits in the center of what appears to be similar to an interrogation room, except that there are no suspects. As we look straight down at the map, we find that most of the map is devoid of color. Except, of course, for five places. These are brightly shining, and there is a tack in each of them, centered directly above a city that has been designated and shines. A championship belt, not one of Union Battleground, but of another company lays next to that table. It’s silver-plating reads “World Champion”.]

[Entering the frame is Finn Whelan, who looks up at the camera above him with an eyebrow raised, and a semi-smirk on his face. But he seems to be completely serious, as at this point, you kind of had to be. He’s already in his ring gear -- his ripped tank, jeans and his boots. A denim vest covers it the shirt. He appears calm -- a sign he’s already resigned himself to every possible outcome of the main event tonight.]

Finn Whelan - There are five places pinned here. Five places with their own history and their own battles waged. If you look closely, perhaps you can recognize them all.

[He lifts his hand and presses it to the first point on the map -- a blue pin, right on top of . . .]

Finn Whelan - Christchurch, New Zealand. Lights Out Seventeen. My first match, the first bracket of the Crown of the King Cobra Tournament. My side of the bracket has been, for the most part, a perilous uphill climb. A revered competitor from Rebellion Pro made his way here, but then Terry McKenna found his fall. Since then, we haven’t heard from him. Perhaps he has left the building, but nevertheless, I conquered here.

[He takes the pin, and he flicks it away. It falls with a small “clink” on the clearly cement floor. He moves his hand upwards, pressing to the island country of . . .]

Finn Whelan - Tokyo, Japan. A wrong assumption brought Johnny Vachon to Japan to exact vengeance upon a false victim. But I didn’t sit there and allow him to tarnish my rise. Vachon and I traded blows through the entire fight, but in the end, I came out as victor. Salvation came for him, as was to be expected. This wasn’t a tournament match, but it proved I wasn’t willing to back down. Not from a fight, no matter the consequence.

[Another pin down, he flicks it off the table with his finger and thumb. His index finger points next at . . .]

Finn Whelan - Shanghai, China. Another close match, but one that I ultimately took advantage of when I saw it. Rodney Stillwater was a formidable opponent, and maybe one day, I’ll find myself facing him again. But I knew how to do this. Again, blows were traded. Match hard fought. And still, in the end, I rose as the finalist.

[He flicks that, and then, his fingers travel across the Pacific, to the left hand portion of Canada.]

Finn Whelan - Things changed here, in Calgary. I stopped being just another competitor. I stopped being the person that might be hard to beat. I made a statement when I defeated the former champion, Lex Collins, for this--

[He points at his championship.]

Finn Whelan - — championship. Collins had held that belt for longer than any of his predecessors in the past year, owing to the fact that someone gave a lackluster performance and a season end. He’d not needed to defend that belt until [i]me[/i], and when I came for it, I came for it [i]hard[/i]. That was a battle that both of us went in all guns loaded for; me, because I wanted to prove a point; him, because I made him so irate that any time my name was mentioned, he went into middle school bitch sessions. He was unprepared. But I won’t be. I’m waiting for the moment he tries to come for this. And I will level him again.

[He slipped his finger back to the map, and then moved back over to where they were now. New Delhi, India.]

Finn Whelan - It doesn’t end here. Not for me. Not for Layton. But it is the finale of this chapter. When we meet tonight, Emery, know that while I’m coming for the championship, I’m not coming because I need to prove a point. I’m not leaping into it with my ego inflated, or my arrogance withstanding. I’m coming for the spoils of war. I [i]respect[/i] competition, and that is what this is. A competition. Will I fight with everything I have? Absolutely. Will I push you until there’s nothing left to push? Most definitely. But win or lose, Emery, I will have proven one thing: that I can go toe-to-toe with you and meet you where it most matters. That I came in as a name known, and will continue to rise to the occasion. For a dumbfuck kid from the streets of Seattle to find his way to this point, to this caliber of fight? It screams determination and drive. Honor and respect. Know this . . .

[He pushes himself back from the table, grabbing his current championship and draping it across his shoulder.]

Finn Whelan - I didn’t fight people like Rodney Stillwater and Terry McKenna for you to pass me. You carry the Trench War title, so you should know what a war this will be. For me, I’m stoked for the battle, but the spoils of war will be dealt to the person most deserving. See you soon, Emery.

[He leaves the frame then, leaving the room shrouded in the single light from the ceiling. Nothing more. Nothing less. The image snaps then back to ringside.]

Mike Dempsey - The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is a Fatal Four-Way Match for the Union Battleground War Horse Championship! Introducing first, standing 6’2” and weighing in at 195 pounds, from unknown origins, he is a member of Salvation, Viduus Morta!

["Cry Little Sister begins to play as the lights drop in the arena. Smoke and fog billows from below the stage rising higher and higher as the stage and ramp begin to light up in fire in a falling dominoes pattern. The faint shadow of Viduus Morta can be seen through the smoke.]

♫

LAST FIRE WILL RISE

BEHIND THOSE EYES

BLACK HOUSE WILL ROCK

BLIND BOYS DON'T LIE

♫

Dante Reed - Bas, here comes our first competitor for this War Horse Championship bout, Salvation’s very own Viduus Morta! Viduus earned his Horsemen Medallion by defeating Joe Stanton back at L!GHTS OUT #18.

Sebastian Riggs - Yeah and it was a great victory for Morta. It was his first match in the Battleground in singles competition, and he looked very good. You know, considering he had a Medallion and was a lock for a shot at the belt tonight, I thought he would rest up in preparation for this fight. But no, he took on AND defeated Flash Kassidy just a few weeks ago, who’s been a thorn in the side of Salvation as of late.

[The Smoke disappears to reveal Viduus entirely looking left and right scanning the crowd. As the music begins to pick up pace, Viduus starts to float his way to the ring.]

♫

CRY LITTLE SISTER

THOU SHALL NOT FALL

COME COME TO YOUR BROTHER

THOU SHALL NOT FEEL

♫

[Viduus slithers under the bottom rope and licks his lips, ready to feast, as he crawls to the middle of the ring. Viduus rises slowly and tilts his head left inquisitively like a curious dog as the lights come back on.]

♫

“THE NEW REALITY” BY CODE ORANGE BEGINS TO PLAY

♫

[Out from the wood work comes Axton Pierce. Standing on the stage, he breathes in the atmosphere of the crowd, he wipes his hand down his face, then proceeds to walk towards the ring.]

Mike Dempsey - Introducing second, standing 6’1” and weighing in at 190 pounds, from Liverpool, England, he is “The Bruiser from the Pool” Axton Pierce!

Dante Reed - And now, here’s “The Bruiser”! A bit of a Dark Horse tonight, but Axton Pierce has improved every night that he’s competed in the Battleground.

Sebastian Riggs - He hasn’t always came out victorious, but he’s shown a lot of growth. He’s the first to win a Four Horsemen Medallion, and he’s got a chance to win Championship gold and really accelerate himself tonight.

[Walking to one side of the ring, he climbs atop the apron and into the ring. He walks towards the nearest corner and climbs onto the turnbuckles, standing tall while looking out at the crowd. He lifts his arm, connecting the thumb and index finger into a circle, and holding the other fingers relaxed in the air. He comes down, as the music fades and awaits the ringing of the bell.]

Mike Dempsey - And now introducing, standing standing 5’5” and weighing in at 125 pounds, from Kimitsu, Japan, representing the 4CW, “Little Yokai” Kimitsu Zombie!

[Number Girl's Tattoo Ari blares out and yellow and red lights flash around all over the arena as the guitar riff starts and mingles with the mixed reaction from the fans.]

♫

MIGIKATA!

IREZUMI!

AGEKATA!

ZANZOU!

♫

Dante Reed - I don’t think there is a more perfect name for this competitor coming out now than “Zombie”. Kimitsu has shown time and again, that no matter what’s at stake or who’s in front of her, there’s no quit in her vocabulary.

Sebastian Riggs - She’s gone on to face some of the toughest competition to ever step foot in this industry; Champions, Legends, Hall of Famers. Her preparation for every opposition is just the same, and her demeanor is truly one of a kind! She’s been on a warpath since her Battleground debut, and she certainly hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down. Kimi hasn’t shied from the fact that she wants Emery Layton again, and with her attack on Trixie, she’s making her claim as number one contender for the Trench War Championship. Tonight, she makes one step closer to reaching that goal if she wins the War Horse Championship here tonight.

[Kimitsu Zombie darts out of the entrance way in her bosozoku uniform carrying a bottle of shochu. Kimitsu drinks from the shochu bottle as she struts to the ring as she takes in the crowds reaction of cheers and jeers. She grins and climbs a turnbuckle bobbing to the music.]

♫

MIGIKATA!

IREZUMI!

AGEKATA!

ZANZOU!

♫

[She takes a long chug of shochu and screams in satisfaction with her tongue out. She jumps down into the ring to wait while sipping from her shochu bottle.]

Mike Dempsey - And finally, standing 6’2” and weighing in at 240 pounds, from the Platinum Coast, he is “The Bullet King” Alex Kincaid!

[The pounding opening drums to Hands Like Houses "I Am" bring the audience up to their feet, turning towards the entrance for the now familiar music of The Bullet King. From the back, Alex Kincaid strides out staring up into the back of the arena. From behind him, his wife steps out to rest a hand on his shoulder. Kincaid grins a bit at the audience, whispering something to her we don’t quite catch before starting to head down to the ring.]

♫

YOU’RE ONE OF A THOUSAND VOICES!

IN MY HEAD, THEY ALL JUST THE SAME

IF MINE NEVER MADE A DIFFERENCE,

IT WON’T MAKE THE MEANING CHANGE!

♫

[By now, Kincaid has made his way to the ring. He makes a full lap of the ring, slapping hands with a few audience members that reach out to him. He pauses at the corner of the crowd barricade to stand on the timekeepers chair, planting one foot on the top of the barricade and staring up into the back of the building. Then, he suddenly pops backward and slides under the ropes to his feet. Alyssa takes her place on the floor near his corner as he walks across the ring and climbs to the top rope, staring out over the audience. He nods, seemingly satisfied with the support of his people, before he hops down to the floor and begins to warm up in his corner to await the start of the match.]

Dante Reed - Our final contestant for this bout, “The Bullet King” has been at odds as of late with the leader of Muramasa-kokka, Kira Izumi, and you gotta wonder if his head is in the game tonight.

Sebastian Riggs - I don’t doubt at all that he’s focused on this Championship opportunity, Dante. He’s got a proven track record, and he just recently lost his Lion’s Road Heritage Heavyweight Title. He knows the taste of victory and defeat, so I believe he’s 100% focused on the task at hand.

Dante Reed - Alright folks, all four competitors are squared away in each corner. The winner of this match wins the War Horse Championship, and thus, holds the right to cash-in on a Trench War Championship Match at their leisure. Our referee for this bout is Joe Murray. He checks off one last time with each combatant, and he’s calling for the bell! This match is underway!

[DING!]

[As the ringing of the bell fades away, all four competitors keep stationed in their corners. Each one keeping their head on a swivel, waiting for someone to make the first move. The intensity finally breaks and all four fighters rush the center of the ring simultaneously like an ancient Roman battle! The collision sets off like an atomic explosion of fists flying everywhere. The scrum finally breaks off into two halves as Viduus Morta gains control of Axton Pierce, while Alex Kincaid Irish whips Kimitsu Zombie into the corner. Kincaid follows through with a powerful closeline and immediately throws a flurry of body shots. Viduus and Axton lock horns, and Viduus sends Axton running the ropes. On the return, Axton eats a big boot to the face. Morta follows with a leg drop, but Pierce rolls out of the way of the attack.]

Dante Reed - We began this match in total chaos, but now things look to be settling in.

[Pierce shoots to his feet and begins unleashing a lightning fast combination of kicks and jabs to the kneeled Morta. In the corner, Kimitsu finally finds an opening and thwarts Kincaid’s attack with a vicious knee smash! Kincaid stumbles back on his heels, leaving Zombie the opportunity to drop him with a sling blade! Kimitsu then rushes over and hits a basement drop kick to Morta!]

Dante Reed - Kimitsu Zombie is all over the place!

Sebastian Riggs - She’s like a tsunami destroying everything in her path!

[Zombie and Pierce team up and begin throwing kicks to the downed Viduus. Kincaid though, slowly gets back to his feet, sneaks up behind Kimitsu and plants her with a dragon suplex! Kincaid then spins up to a full mount and begins dropping lefts and rights on Kimitsu. On the other side, Viduus has managed to get to his feet and locks up with Pierce. Viduus whips Pierce into the ropes, and on the return drops him with a vicious spear! Viduus now mounts Pierce and also begins throwing jabs and hammer fists. Kincaid steps off of Zombie, rushes over and drops Viduus with a somersault neckbreaker!]

Dante Reed - Kincaid levels Viduus Morta! It seems as though there is an alliance between Kincaid and Pierce.

Sebastian Riggs - Well they did team up recently in a Trios match. Maybe that’s paying off a bit here tonight. However, only one person can win here, so we’ll see if this alliance stays true to form.

[Viduus quickly rolls out of the ring to avoid any further attack, and Pierce gets to his knees to see Kincaid standing near by. The two exchange a blank, yet intense glare before the incoming Kimitsu Zombie barrels Kincaid down with a running bulldog! Axton now gets to his feet in what appears to help Kincaid, but Viduus trips him and drags him to the outside and quickly pummels The Bruiser from the Pool. On the inside, Kincaid wobbles back to his feet and lunges at Kimitsu, but the Little Yokai counters with an arm drag into the turnbuckles! Kincaid struggles to get to his feet, using the ropes for leverage, all the while Kimi dials in, charges, and catapults herself towards Kincaid and collides with a double knee strike!]

Dante Reed - Kimitsu Zombie has been on fire to kick this match off!

Sebastian Riggs - I’m telling you, Dante. She has her sights set on that Championship and it doesn’t look like anything will stop her!

[Kimitsu plays to the crowd with a mixed reaction of mostly cheers. She then grabs Kincaid by the hair and pulls him out from the corner to the center of the ring. Kimi goes to Irish whip Kincaid, but he reversed the whip and quickly counters with a devastating short arm lariat that completely knocks Kimi off her feet! Alex pops back to his feet and he now plays to the crowd, pointing down at Kimitsu. He yells out to the crowd “Right There!” And plants a thundering jumping elbow drop! Kincaid now hooks the leg for the bout’s first cover!]

... One!

... Two!

... Kick out!

Dante Reed - My god! Alex Kincaid nearly took Zombie’s head off!

Sebastian Riggs - He’s got almost 120 pounds on her, Dante! This guy is built like a Mack Truck and hits like freight train!

[Kincaid smacks the canvas in frustration but then aggressively locks Zombie in a sleeper hold. On the outside, Viduus and Axton continue throwing jabs back and forth. Axton uses his martial arts background and starts parrying Morta’s jabs and countering with a quick 1-2 combo. Soon Axton is in total control until Viduus snaps and gorilla presses Axton high over his head. The crowd gasp at the sight of strength before Viduus drops Axton on his throat onto the steel barricade! Pierce drops like a ragdoll and clutches his neck in pain while Viduus begins to dig under the ring.]

Dante Reed - Oh boy, looks like Viduus is looking for something.

Sebastian Riggs - He’s about to turn this place into a bloodbath!

[Viduus grabs hold of something and pulls out a table. He sets it up then goes back after Axton. Viduus pulls him up and begins slamming his head against the barricade, each one giving the front row a cringed reaction. Viduus finally lets off and Axton is now busted open. Viduus rolls Axton onto the table and begins to ascend the steel steps. Viduus now stands at the apron looking down at the unconscious Pierce. But before Viduus can strike, Alex Kincaid runs up behind him and locks him in a rear naked choke! Morta is trying to fight it off but the technically sound Kincaid has it in tight. Viduus flails around trying to get a grip but it’s to no avail. Suddenly, Viduus drops down to hit a rope assisted stunner on Kincaid! The Bullet King stumbles back grasping his throat and then out of nowhere Kimitsu hits him with a low blow! But wait, no, she’s got a firm grip on Kincaid’s crotch!]

Dante Reed - Holy shit! Kimitsu has got Alex by balls! Literally!

Sebastian Riggs - He always talks about protecting his family, you think... you think he was talking about his family jewels?!

[Kincaid is wincing and hopping on his tip toes as Zombie once again plays to the crowd who are in a riot. Finally, Zombie bridges back and slams Kincaid with a ballsplex! Zombie hooks the leg for a cover!]

... One!

... Two!

... Th—Break!

Dante Reed - Viduus Morta breaks the pin! He left Axton out at ringside to break the pin.

Sebastian Riggs - Smart move by Viduus, plus I don’t think The Bullet King wanted to go out like that!

[Viduus now directs his full attention to Kimitsu by deadlifting her straight off the mat by the neck then choke slamming her back down! Kimitsu rolls out onto the apron area to try to avoid anything more from Viduus. Viduus then taunts the crowd which draws a chorus of boos. Suddenly, Axton slides back into the ring with a chair and starts swinging away at Viduus. Each strike throws Morta off balance but it doesn’t look to do much damage. Then Kincaid springs into action and joins in on the attack on Viduus! Both men trading kicks, punches, and chair shots to Morta who finally shows signs of struggle. Pierce drops the chair and he and Kincaid Irish whip Viduus across the ring. On the return, both Alex and Axton throw Viduus over the top rope with a double hip toss! Viduus lands on his feet on the outside but the momentum slams him into the barricade. Pierce quickly jumps into action with a triangle springboard shooting star press from the top rope to the outside onto Viduus! The crowd explodes into cheers to witness such a high flying move as both men crash into the barricade!]

Dante Reed - Holy shit! Axton Pierce just went to the high rent district!

Sebastian Riggs - Big risk, big reward, Dante! And there’s that teamwork between Alex Kincaid and Axton Pierce jelling to take out that sideshow freak!

[Pierce pops to his feet mostly unscathed but gripping his ribs a bit and celebrates with the front row fans. Pierce then picks Morta up and throws him onto the table that was setup earlier. Axton looks up into the ring at Kincaid, points to him, points to the top rope, and then points at Viduus lying on the table. The crowd picks up as Kincaid makes his way to the nearest turnbuckle. The Bullet King climbs his way and stands high at the top, shoots a couple hand guns gestures, then comes crashing down through the table with a frog splash! Again the crowd erupts into cheers and start a chant!]

THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME!

THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME!

Dante Reed - From On High! It’s Alex Kincaid’s turn to level the Salvation member!

Sebastian Riggs - These are smart tactics. Take out the biggest threat in this match, the man who knows no pain, and then work from there. I like it, but at some point, it’s every man for himself!

[Kincaid and Morta lie in the rubble of broken shards of wood while Pierce takes action and slides back in the ring. He heads over to Kimitsu who is still recovering from Viduus’ choke slam. Axton rolls her back inside, picks her up, and Irish whips her hard into the turnbuckle. Pierce then rushes and delivers a crushing enziguri! Kimitsu stumbles over but Axton catches her in a front face lock. The Bruiser then hooks the leg and delivers a cradle DDT!]

Dante Reed - Axton Pierce is taking full advantage of this opportunity right now!

Sebastian Riggs - No doubt, you got Kincaid and Morta out cold on the outside, and he’s keeping Zombie at bay. If he stays persistent, he just might win this thing!

[Kimitsu rolls around in pain as Axton is stationed in the corner, stalking his prey. He looks like he’s ready to end this one right now, as he slaps his leg, looking for the Avada Kedavra spin kick! Kimitsu is struggles to get to her feet, all the while the crowd starts getting riled up. It appears that two fans wearing Nemesis masks (available at the Battleground Shop) have jumped the barricade and one has a chair in hand!]

Dante Reed - Ahh no, looks like a couple of drunk idiots trying to ruin this show!

Sebastian Riggs - Get ‘em outta here! Where’s security?!

[One of them jumps on the apron and smacks Axton Pierce over the head with the chair! Pierce buckled at the knees but stays up by the ropes. The other fan now jumps up, pulls bamboo skewers out from his jacket and stabs Pierce right in the forehead with them!]

Dante Reed - Skewers?! Wait a minute! That’s... That’s gotta be...

Sebastian Riggs - Jordan Rayburn and Kira Izumi!

[The two masked “fans” try to make a run for it, but Kincaid grabs the one with a chair in hand. Alex pulls off the mask to reveal it is in fact Kira Izumi! Kira tries to make an escape, but The Bullet King lifts him up in a fireman’s carry and Kira drops the chair! Kincaid is looking to hit The Finishing Touch, but soon gets sideswiped with a chairshot to the back by Jordan Rayburn! Both Izumi and Rayburn make a mad dash back into the audience, where they eventually blend into the crowd and disappear. Meanwhile back in the ring, Axton is hunkered over trying to pull the skewers out from his head, when out of nowhere Kimitsu Zombie flatlines him with a devastating axe kick!]

Sebastian Riggs - Banzai God Kick!

Dante Reed - Zombie is hooking the leg! This one’s over!

... One!

... Two!

... Three!

[DING DING DING!]

Mike Dempsey - Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, AND NEW Union Battleground War Horse Champion, Kimitsu Zombie!

Dante Reed - She’s done it! What an amazing turnaround! Kimitsu Zombie has won the War Horse Championship, and quite honestly, Bas, I don’t think there’s anyone who deserves it more!

Sebastian Riggs - Ever since she made her official debut last season at L!GHTS OUT #9, she has been out here night after night! She has been on a warpath since day one; and win or lose, she gives sit everything she’s got. I couldn’t agree more with you Dante, thisnone feels long overdue.

Dante Reed - Now she’s one step closer to her main objective, and that’s a shot at the Trench War Championship. And more specifically, Emery Layton!

Sebastian Riggs - No doubt Kimi took that loss against Emery at Coup de Grâce pretty hard. But again, even in defeat, she stands tall, brushes herself off, and gets back to work!

Dante Reed - A couple of questions, though, still remains. Number one, Trixie, who won a contendership match, still hasn’t received her shot due to Zombie attacking her. Where do we go from there? And number two, what’s the future hold for the likes of Kira Izumi, Jordan Rayburn, Alex Kincaid, and Axton Pierce?

Sebastian Riggs - Those I cannot answer. But I’m sure we’ll fin out soon enough!

Dante Reed - Folks, stick around as we draw near to the main event. Next up, we have Elysium World Champion SHIDO taking on Union Battleground Champion Nemesis. Don’t go anywhere!

A Dish Best Served Cold

[The Union Battleground cameras take us backstage after the absolutely gruelling War Horse Championship match to where Alex Kincaid is storming down a hallway toward his locker room. At his side, his manager desperately tries to calm him down. It's a failed effort as Kincaid darts sideways and kicks a table over in the hallway with a frustrated roar. He curses and walks over to the wall, resting his palms against it with a deep breath.]

Alyssa Kincaid – Alex...Alex, take a breath. Okay? If you freak out and get yourself suspended or something, it's going to take forever to get another shot.

[Alex looks over his shoulder back at her, about to say something but then he spots the cameras. He grins and turns to face them.]

Alex Kincaid – What? You want a comment? Looking for a scoop? Well, lucky for you, I've got a whole hell of a lot to say.

[He starts trying to unwrap his wrist tape, getting frustrated as a bit of it bundles up and he pulls at it with manic energy. Alyssa steps forward to help him but he shoots her a look and shakes his head. He bites into the tape, ripping it in half with his teeth and tossing it aside.]

Alex Kincaid – What happened out there? Absolute nonsense, absolute mess. And if you're expecting me to just sit here and roll with that? Not a chance. Not way. Kira and the rest of the Muramusa-Kosa dorks keep pulling at this thread, over and over again. You keep poking the bear over and over and you just won't let this die. Was last week in Shanghai not enough for you? Did me and Axton nearly breaking your back on those steps not teach you a lesson? What do you think is going to happen next?

[Alex shakes his head, disgusted, and walks toward the camera. It's fast enough that the camera moves back but Alex grabs a hold of it to stop the cameraman from moving back. Alyssa puts a hand on his shoulder and Alex catches himself, sucking in a breath and looking to the ground. He realizes his temper has gotten the best of him and he does his best to quickly compose himself.]

Alex Kincaid – You didn't just cost me a championship tonight, you cost me the last two months it took to get here You cost me the value of walking through that curtain night after night. You couldn't let this thing go. And so I've come to a decision, one that I think you'll appreciate Kira: I won't either. I don't know what happens next, but one way or another? You and I are going to stand across the ring from each other again, and I'm going to give you the kind of ass kicking that makes you rethink your entire five year career plan. No lofty ideals, no trying to climb the ladder, this is going to come down to good old fashioned revenge.

[He pushes the camera out of his way and walks down the hall in the same direction he came from. Alyssa scrambles afterward to follow as we leave the scene]

Yin and Yang

[We see black boots walking, creating an audible crunch beneath them with every step and although we are boot level, we can see that behind the set of boots, looks to be a scorched and fire ridden environment with random bursts of flames taking off high up into the air it looks like while widening out due to the sudden explosion. The dark black boots continue on forward as they now begin journeying over scattered out grey objects that are round in shape but fragile enough to the point that they shatter beneath the set of boots with ease, not just simply crunching, creating a cringe worthy sound. The camera begins to zoom in on one of these round, grey objects to show us that it is in fact a human skull, tilted on it’s side, next to dozens more. Suddenly, the right black boot comes down on the skull, crushing it into pieces and sending a piece of bone directly towards the camera as the boots continue walking along without hesitation.]

[The crunching of skulls continue as we now come back in on the boots as we begin to pan up, starting with dark black jeans, as the camera continues to move up with see a black leather jacket with pieces of Nemesis’ ritualistic headpiece dangling along the shoulder, then finally we see Nemesis’ face in a side profile shot as he walks along. Around him looks to be a neighborhood but besides the street beneath him being littered with skulls, something else seems off, as if this neighborhood isn’t off this worldly plane. There is a dark blood red hue to the setting, while street lights look to be smashed and flickering, the sky itself is red with black, deep clouds strung throughout it like an oil canvas while every house on this street looks run down, pillaged or abandoned. The smell of sulfur fills the air due to the ongoing random bursts and explosions of fire while with every breath Nemesis takes we can see the air forming a cloud in front of him but oddly, it doesn’t look to be cold in the slightest wherever he is. The camera stops and watches him continue walking towards his destination down this unknown or nightmarish road.]

[On the opposite end, there’s the light--the oh-so-shining light that pierces through the shadowy formations around the emerging individual. From the white, the person comes out, white locks of flowing hair scraping against their shoulders. Dainty hands reach for the person’s pants, tugging lightly before they’re ripped away by a march against the encroaching darkness. A heaven paradise with statues adhering to the proclamations of the main figure, where angels and cherubs played. Each step invited the sound of water reverbing throughout the confines of the room. The person reaches for the buttons of his overcoat, snapping them open one by one until his body could be seen. On his waist shines the championship that he holds so dear to himself, the one he ripped away from the hands of a boisterous pariah.]

[In the celestial light, SHIDO, the Elysium World Champion, stands before Nemesis, the Union Battleground Champion. The conceited smirk that usually accompanies his face grows a tad to display his excitement. SHIDO stares back into the ceaseless desolation that Nemesis crept from. The Yin to the Yang, the polar opposites in essence, but they are linked by their undying want to prove their superiority. The light and darkness do not waver from one another, nor do they attack. They simply stand at ease in their own magnificence. SHIDO drives his hand through his hair as the light breeze of his heavenly abode teases it. The tail of his cloak was now free to trickle in the wind, gliding and descending as SHIDO stands ready. The Elysium Champion looks the part of a Michelangelo painting of a mighty divine warrior, but all know him to be closer to Lucifer.]

[As both men subtlety size each other up, it becomes quite obvious that due to both stubbornness and arrogance, neither looks to be backing down any moment soon. A sudden gust of wind whips between the two causing Nemesis’ headpiece to flail with it while his grin ever so slightly turns to a sadistic smirk as SHIDO continues glaring on. With both of these entities standing face to face, nose to nose, not a single word is spoken. We fade out suddenly to darkness.]

Mike Dempsey - The following contest is a One Night Only Match and is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, standing 6'1" and weighing in at 232 pounds, from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, he is the Elysium World Champion, he is "The Edge of Reality" SHIDO!

SOMETIMES I DOUBT THE PATH I CHOSE

SOMETIMES MY DREAMS FEEL ALL ON HOLD

THERE’S NO DOUBT THAT THIS WILL MAKE ME STRONG

‘CAUSE IT’S THE HARDEST THING I’VE EVER DONE

["Honeythief" by Halou, the song that beckons the arrival of the confusing entity known as SHIDO greets the audience. The softly spoken lyrics accompany SHIDO as he strolls onto the stage, lackadaisical in presence and body language. He presents himself onto the stage, standing at the edge with his head titled to the side. A single floodlight shines underneath, helping shadows crawl up his body and shroud pieces of his body. It illuminates the shining white jacket, also showing the bits of black paint that display the controlled chaos that is his mind. He starts down the ramp, rocking his head to the side. The lyrics' intensity explode, the instrumentals pick up, but not does Shido's external energy. An awkward grin looms on his face, offsetting the lack of vision on his eyes. The lighting starts to cycle through dark purples and soft whites until he makes it down to the end of the ramp.]

Dante Reed - And now a man who is not officially in Union Battleground, but is making his second appearance, the Elysium World Champion, SHIDO!

Sebastian Riggs - It's good to see him back, and quite honestly I didn't think he could top the match he had in his first go-round, but I've been wrong before! SHIDO has shown he's not intimidated by Nemesis, his tactics, or his crew leading up to this point. I know he's brought is A-game!

[SHIDO drags himself onto the ring apron, relaxing on it. He lowers his body down, hanging by his arm on the rope. When he hits the apron, he stretches all the way out and slides into the ring. As he lies there, he contemplates getting up. When he does, he establishes an eerie pace until he's upright. The lights flash brighter to show SHIDO in all of his glory. He times his final stance in the ring with his arms out. SHIDO brings his arms upward, stretched out as a spotlight casts onto him. His arms continues to rise upward to the now dying spotlight until he's completely immersed in darkness. When the lights come back up, SHIDO has positioned himself on the bottom rope, using it as a seat.]

Mike Dempsey - And his opponent, standing 6'4" and weighing in at 255 pounds, from unknown origins, he is the leader of Salvation and the Union Battleground Champion, "The Alpha and Omega" Nemesis!

[The arena goes dark as the opening chords of “More Human Than Human” by White Zombie begin to surround the fans of the arena. With each audio moan on the track’s opening sequence, the arena flashes a deep dark red then as the guitar kicks in the lights slowly begin to rise to a dim setting and we see Nemesis kneeling at the top of the ramp with the Union Battleground Championship glistening around his waist, as a single red spotlight shines down on him while Preacher laughs methodically, leaning forward on his cane by Nemesis’ side.]

I AM, THE ASTRO-CREEP, A DEMOLITION STYLE,

HELL AMERICAN FREAK, YEAH

I AM, THE CRAWLING DEAD, A PHANTOM IN A BOX,

♫

[As Rob Zombie’s voice kicks in, Nemesis raises his lowered head, outstretches his arms, raises to his feet and then proceeds forward slowly towards the ring with the arena remaining dark and the lone red spotlight following Nemesis’ path accordingly as Preacher is walking by his side, laughing evilly to the crowd and scaring children with his long, vampire-like fingernails. Nemesis walks by the fans not phased in the slightest by the cheers and chirps with his eyes solely focused on the ring before him. Nemesis approaches the ring steps with Preacher now trailing behind, begins to walk up them, stops at the final step, unstraps the Union Battleground Championship from his waist, jumps directly onto the top turnbuckle and outstretch his arms while kneeling down, lifting the Union Battleground Championship high in the air as smoke fills the ring. Nemesis then hops down into the ring walking directly into the center of the squared circle where he falls to both knees, places the Union Battleground Championship on the mat before him and lowers his head similarly to how he was on the entrance ramp as Preacher again leans on his cane, standing by his side with his sinister laugh echoing even through the music playing. As the music continues, Nemesis simultaneously raises his head and outstretches his arms as the lights come on and the music stops.]

Dante Reed - And now, our Union Battleground Champion, Nemesis.

Sebastian Riggs - Nemesis is making his season two singles debut here tonight, and what a match-up he has in store ahead of him. SHIDO is not slouch. He's no slouch, he's taken down the Trench War Champion, now let's see if he can take down the Union Battleground Champion!

Dante Reed - Alright folks, both men are in their corners, and you could cut the tension with a knife! The referee is checking off with each fighter one last time, and calls for the bell! This match is underway!

[DING!]

[Both men circle one another for a moment as the fans cheer. Nemesis looks frustrated as he grits his teeth. He stops in his tracks and approaches SHIDO, offering a handshake. SHIDO looks down at the hand… and then he slaps it away! The fans scream as SHIDO pounds his chest and then proceeds to slap Nemesis across the face!]

Dante Reed - Wow! No respect given here in this fight!

Sebastian Riggs - Can’t blame him, I’m sure it was just a ploy for Nemesis.

[Nemesis shakes off the slap and cracks his jaw. He then steps back and circles the ring once more. Nemesis fakes a lunge at SHIDO, causing SHIDO to go into a defensive posture. Laughing, Nemesis circles once more… and then he rushes SHIDO, locking up! The fans scream with anticipation, as both men remain in an elbow and collar tie up, leaning into one another! Nemesis slowly backs SHIDO into the corner of the ring, and SHIDO finds himself against the turnbuckle, as Nemesis shoves him hard, and follow it up with a hard slap across SHIDO’s chest! The fans flinch as Nemesis chops SHIDO once more.. And then again. Each time sending a loud slapping noise out into the crowd, SHIDO’s flesh turning red with each concurrent shot!]

Dante Reed - Devastating knife edge chops! Just the sound of them makes me cringe!

Sebastian Riggs - You can hear them in the nose bleed sections.

[Nemesis sets SHIDO up by pushing against him once more. He bring a hand back, only for SHIDO to counter him! SHIDO delivers a solid head butt. Nemesis shakes it off and charges back, only for SHIDO to counter by driving Nemesis face first into the turnbuckle! Nemesis stumbles backwards, caught off guard as SHIDO takes him down with a Thesz Press, and rapidly driving his knuckles right above Nemesis’s eye! He quickly transitions to elbows, each blow colliding harder and harder until Nemesis is cut wide, pouring down the side of his head! SHIDO falls into the first cover of the match up. The referee goes for the count.]

... One!

... Two!

... Kick out!

Dante Reed - I can’t believe it, SHIDO has cut Nemesis already in this match!

Sebastian Riggs - Those elbow strikes can be fatal! As this match wears on, the blood could impede Nemesis’ vision!

[Nemesis climbs to his feet as SHIDO confronts the referee, he stumbles across the ring, wiping the blood from his eye. SHIDO rushes him from behind and driving his shoulder into the back of Nemesis’s knee! He slams into the mat as SHIDO rises back up once more! He then proceeds to stomp Nemesis, first the ankles, then the fingers, then dropping a knee to Nemesis’ skull! SHIDO then grabs the head and brings him to his feet! SHIDO then Irish whips Nemesis to the ropes and lower his head, sending him up and over… and landing on to his back with a sickening thud!]

Dante Reed - SHIDO has come out of the gates firing away!

Sebastian Riggs - Two top champions in this bout representing their companies... Well one is, while the other represents his gang of sadistic cohorts!

[Holding his back, Nemesis sits up, only to receive a huge knee to the skull, a flying shining wizard from SHIDO sending him crashing to the mat! Nemesis rolls in agony as SHIDO is back on him, driving his knuckles into his flesh! Nemesis has bloodied the mat as he struggles to break free. Finally, Nemesis gouges SHIDO in the eyes, sending the self-proclaimed “God of Men” rolling away in shock, Nemesis dropping to one knee.]

[Getting back to his feet, Nemesis uses the ropes to stable himself. He turns and sees SHIDO rushing him, and he quickly drops down while holding the top rope! SHIDO can’t recover in time and he goes flying over the top rope… AND FACE FIRST INTO THE BARRICADE! The fans scream as SHIDO sinks to the ringside area, his eyes glossed over, and the barricade flying backward into the crowd!]

Dante Reed - Quick thinking by Nemesis!

Sebastian Riggs - Now’s his chance to go on the offensive.

[Still shrugging off the pain, Nemesis slowly gets backs to his feet. He wipes the blood out of his eyes and walks over to the ropes. SHIDO quickly back to his feet and drags Nemesis out of the ring, grabbing his legs and yanking him under the bottom rope. Both men unload on one another, with left and rights! Back and forth the men go at ringside, blood from Nemesis’ skull now caking SHIDO’s fists. Finally, Nemesis grabs SHIDO by the head and drives him face first into the ring post! Nemesis grabs SHIDO once more, only to be reversed and sent into the metal steps with a loud bang! Nemesis tumbles over the metal steps and to the other side of the ring as SHIDO drops to one knee!]

Dante Reed - A master of counters, SHIDO continues to keep the momentum in his favor.

Sebastian Riggs - I’ve never seen Nemesis like this before, Dante. He’s had about zero offense so far in this match.

[SHIDO tries to get back up but his legs give out from under him. He seems to be favoring his chest as he doubles over at ringside! Nemesis sees this and is immediately on top of it.  He rushes to SHIDO and reaches out for him but SHIDO is able to deliver a huge right hand to the abdomen! SHIDO shakes off the pain and shoves Nemesis back into the ring apron, sending Nemesis falling to the ground! The fans scream as SHIDO kicks Nemesis in the gut! He then grabs Nemesis, pulling him to his feet and Irish Whips him into the newly exposed ring post! Nemesis hits the metal hard and bounces off of it!]

[Still holding his chest, SHIDO grabs Nemesis and slowly rolls him back into the ring. He then follows and covers for the pin.]

... One!

... Two!

... Kick out!

Dante Reed - No dice.

Sebastian Riggs - It’s gonna take more to put away Nemesis. But these pin attempts will tire a man out. It’s more strategy than an attempt to end it.

[SHIDO rolls away, wiping the sweat off his forehead. Nemesis remains on his back, breathing hard with a mask of crimson! Glancing at Nemesis, SHIDO grits his teeth and rises up once more. He stalks Nemesis and waits as the Elysium Pro Champion slowly rises to his feet, pulling himself up by the ropes. Now on his feet, Nemesis turns to face SHIDO as he grabs him! Nemesis counters quickly in a display of ring awareness, and he quickly pulls SHIDO in and drives him into the canvas with a massive DDT, his head bouncing off of the canvas! Nemesis quickly covers for the pin.]

... One!

... Two!

... Kick out!

Dante Reed - Finally, a sign of life by Nemesis!

[Nemesis grabs SHIDO and helps him to his feet. Delivering a huge left hand to the face once… then twice. Scooping SHIDO up into the air and circling the ring before driving him down into the mat with a running body slam! Nemesis runs to the ropes and uses them for momentum. SHIDO quickly kips up to his feet, but is once again driven into the mat by a spinning elbow to the face by Nemesis!]

[Nemesis pulls SHIDO to his feet and lifts him up onto the shoulders. A devilish smirk on his face as Nemesis he GOES FOR ENOCH! NO! SHIDO slips out from behind running across the ring, bouncing off of the rope and straight into a boot to the gut. And in one swift movement Nemesis PLANTS SHIDO TO THE GROUND WITH 3:30! The implant DDT connects as SHIDO crashes hard to the canvas. He falls into the cover.]

... One!

... Two!

... Th— Break! SHIDO throws his leg on the bottom rope!

Dante Reed - Nemesis gaining control of the match now and tried to put this one away.

Sebastian Riggs - Gotta give credit for SHIDO. Instead of burning the energy of trying to kick out of the bigger man’s pin, he used great ring awareness with the rope break to reserve his energy.

[Nemesis can’t believe it and backs into the corner. SHIDO begins to stir as Nemesis makes his way back across the ring. He grabs SHIDO by the head, hook the arm and lifts SHIDO into the air for a stalling suplex! SHIDO remains up in the air all of his blood rushing to his head… but he gains enough awareness to drop a knee to the top of Nemesis’ skull, once…twice then he is able to slide free, landing on his feet! Nemesis is just a second quicker however as he kicks SHIDO in the gut and lifts him into the air with a gutwrench powerbomb! SHIDO collides with the canvas hard but has enough strength to roll under the bottom rope, as he rolls to the ringside area he is able to land on his feet, stumbling into the barricade. Nemesis watches him, shaking his head.]

Sebastian Riggs - Again, great tactics by SHIDO here. He got rocked with that powerbomb but slid out of the ring to avoid any further damage and give him a chance to regroup.

[Sliding out of the ring, he peels away the decorative padding that lines the apron exposing the metal that is the ring apron. Nemesis approaches SHIDO. He watches as SHIDO struggles to stay on his feet, his legs failing him. The referee is shown in the ring, pleading for Nemesis to back away from SHIDO. Refusing to listen, Nemesis grabs SHIDO and forces him to his feet! He twists SHIDO around… and is shoved away by SHIDO!!! SHIDO THEN DRIVES HIS KNEE INTO THE FACE OF NEMESIS, LIFTING HIM UP AFTER AND POWERBOMBING HIM ON TOP OF THE BARRACADE!]

Dante Reed - Are you kidding me?!

Sebastian Riggs - How in the hell did he pull that off?!

[Nemesis hits the barricade, his flesh colliding with hard cold metal! The force behind the powerbomb causes the entire piece of metal to dent as Nemesis then falls to the concrete floor as SHIDO collapses in exhaustion! Neither man makes a move as the fans really get behind the both of them now, good and bad…neither matter anymore as these two men are putting on a classic! The referee checks on each man, a look of concern on his face as both men lay nearly unconscious on the ground.]

[SHIDO is the first to attempt to get to his feet. He glances at referee as he pleads for him to get back into the ring. SHIDO nods and stumbles away… and then he drops to one knee. Lifting the apron, he slowly pulls out a table! Using what little energy that he has left, SHIDO slides the table into the ring. He then rolls into the ring after it as the fans cheer loudly. SHIDO lifts the table and sets up the legs, sliding it to the center of the ring.]

Sebastian Riggs - Looks like SHIDO is making things a little more feng shui.

[Nemesis is now on his feet, his skin now a sickening dark red. Before Nemesis enters the ring he looks underneath the ring. SHIDO sees this and rushes to him, the referee tries to hold him back pulling him away, trying to force him to recover grabbing him around the waist. He grabs Nemesis from over the ropes and pulls on him… until Nemesis hits him with a fire extinguisher over the head!!! SHIDO immediately releases him and lands flat on his back!! Blood running out from his nose.]

Dante Reed - Call the fire department! This one’s out of control!

Sebastian Riggs - SHIDO is now busted open!

[SHIDO begins to stir as Nemesis slowly slide into the ring and tosses the fire extinguisher aside. He stands on the side, holding the ropes as he yells at SHIDO to get back up! Planting his hands, SHIDO slowly does. He drives a foot into the canvas and gets to his feet. Unaware of what is about to happen, SHIDO takes a deep breath, his muscles quivering. He turns around as the fans warn him, only for Nemesis to show his destructive talent! Hopping on to the top rope in a display of agility, Nemesis launches off of the ropes and flies into the air!]

[Nemesis shoots towards SHIDO…. And is caught in mid air A MASSIVE SUPERKICK TO THE CHIN!! Nemesis crashes to the mat hard! SHIDO pulls Nemesis in between his legs and lifts him up onto his shoulders, SHIDO stumbles backwards! SHIDO uses his upper body strength as he slams Nemesis through the table! The table bursts into shards as Nemesis lies in the rubble and SHIDO drops to the mat in exhaustion!]

THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME!

THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME!

Dante Reed - This is incredible! SHIDO is digging deep and leaving it all out there!

[Both men continue lying on the mat, gasping for air. Finally, SHIDO rolls over as he crawls towards Nemesis. Reaching his opponent, SHIDO drapes an arm over Nemesis. The referee finally begins to stir as the crowd reaches a count of three. He staggers over to the carnage and begins to count the fall.]

... One!

... Two!

... Th— Kick out!

[SHIDO rolls away, his eyes frustrated and enraged, his eyes large looking straight at the referee! Grabbing his chest, SHIDO slowly gets up and limps towards the ropes, looking back at Nemesis, blood seems to have finally stopped running down his face for the time being. Holding the ropes, he raises one hand… and signals for the end.]

[SHIDO continues to taunt Nemesis, begging for him to get back up! Slowly, Nemesis climbs out of the wreckage. Wooden debris fall from his body as he uses the ropes to get back up! Glaring at SHIDO, he refuses to back down as he stumbles forward. Stopping to catch his breath, Nemesis looks at his opponent. He then steps forward one more time…. And is kicked in the gut and doubles over! SHIDO hooks an arm and grabs Nemesis’ legs and lifts him into the air with a wrist clutch exploder suplex!]

Dante Reed - Bloodstained Love Story!

Sebastian Riggs - SHIDO has done it! He’s going to put down Nemesis!

[Nemesis doesn’t move, his body seemingly lifeless as the blood begins to rush down his face again. The exploder suplex seems to have drained every piece of fight left in his body as SHIDO sits down next to him, a evil smirk spreading across his face. He casually rolls over and pins Nemesis.]

ONE!

TWO!

THR… SHIDO LIFTS HIS HEAD OFF THE MAT BREAKING THE PINFALL!

[SHIDO lifts Nemesis back to his feet. He hooks the arms and nails the BLOODSTAINED LOVE STORY…. AGAIN!!! The referee yells at SHIDO to pin Nemesis. After laughing, SHIDO places a boot on Nemesis’s chest.]

ONE!

TWO!

THRE…

[SHIDO removes his boot and walks away, ending the count once again!! The referee gets in SHIDO’s face and yells at him, begging for the match to come to an end. Breathing hard, SHIDO holds the ropes and glares at Nemesis with a sadistic smile.]

Dante Reed - What on earth is SHIDO doing?!

Sebastian Riggs - He’s toying with Nemesis! He’s mocking him! He’s insulting him! This has gotten personal!

[Sliding out of the ring, SHIDO grabs a metal folding chair. He throws it into the ring. He then reaches back under… and removes a BARBED WIRE BAT! Rolling into the ring, SHIDO holds the bat over his head! He waits for Nemesis to get back up like a snake stalking its prey! SHIDO swings the hammer downward and Nemesis is able to roll out of the way in the direction of the steel chair. Nemesis picks it up and turns on a dime. He watches as SHIDO does the same and dodges another swing, then cracks SHIDO over the head with the steel chair, but instead SHIDO dodges and the chair connect with referee’s face sending him crashing to the mat. Nemesis looks at the referee as he falls to the ground. He turns straight into a ACROSS THE UNIVERSE ONTO THE STEEL CHAIR! The Olympic Slam plants Nemesis right onto the back of his neck. The referee is still out cold, SHIDO slaps his hand down on the mat for the: One…Two…. Three! The fans count along with him but there is no referee to make it official! Rolling away, SHIDO walks over to the ref and slaps him around, doing his best to wake up the Referee! Finally, he begins to stir and nods his head! SHIDO turns around… and gets hit in the gut by the barbed wire bat, swung hard by Nemesis! Nemesis brings the bat down again… and again… on to the back of SHIDO!! SHIDO screams in pain as Nemesis tosses the bat aside and hooks the leg for the pin. The referee reluctantly counting the fall, and he does it slower than normal, still slightly dazed.]

ONE!

TWO!

THRE…KICK OUT BY SHIDO!

Dante Reed - No! SHIDO somehow kicks out!

Sebastian Riggs - These two have proven that they are not human! Nobody could withstand this kind of punishment!

[The crowd erupts out of pure amazement as Nemesis slams his fits onto the mat, Nemesis gets up and looks for the metal chair! The referee pleading for Nemesis to put the chair down but he refuses. Nemesis walks over to SHIDO and swings the chair hard, bringing it down on SHIDO again… and again… and again… until the chair is twisted and bent beyond repair! Nemesis covers for the pin. The referee stares in disbelief as Nemesis orders him to start the count!]

ONE!

TWO!

THRE… KICK OUT BY SHIDO!

Dante Reed - I don’t believe it!

Sebastian Riggs - How can he still be conscious after all of this?

[Nemesis stands to his feet, limping around the ring. Wiping the blood from entering his eyes. He looks at SHIDO, screaming at him to get back to his feet. SHIDO finally starts to stir, he rises to his knees and pulls him self up each rope like a ladder until he stumbles forward STRAIGHT INTO A CANDIAN DESTROYER! Completely exhausted, Nemesis slowly hooks the leg for the pin… and the referee begins her count.]

ONE!

TWO! …

[The referee stops counting!! The fans scream as Nemesis looks up at him, fire in his eyes! The ref points at the ropes and we see that SHIDO somehow draped his foot on the bottom rope again, ending the count! Rolling away, Nemesis looks around the arena. Shock and a look of “what the hell do I need to do” on his face as he sits there looking at SHIDO, motionless.]

THIS IS AWESOME!!!

THIS IS AWESOME!!!

THIS IS AWESOME!!!!

Dante Reed - SHIDO again avoids the fall with a rope break!

Sebastian Riggs - Amazing! Simply amazing! I’m at a loss for words right now!

[Standing up to his feet. Nemesis looks on as SHIDO rolls over. He is shaking, spit dripping from his mouth. He tries to stand back up but falls back down to the mat, holding his chest. He tries to stand up once more…. But the end result is the same… as SHIDO hits the mat hard. Shaking his head, Nemesis walks over to SHIDO, looking down at him. SHIDO looks up at his bitter rival. The fans erupt, both boos and cheers! Infuriated, Nemesis grabs SHIDO and yanks him to his feet! SHIDO counters, shoving Nemesis away and kicking him in the abdomen!! SHIDO hooks the arms but Nemesis slides out, spinning around into a DDT set up! SHIDO slides his head out and spins Nemesis around, lifting him into the air for a backdrop! Nemesis breaks free in mid swing and lands on his feet!! SHIDO turns around as Nemesis bounces off of the rope… CADENCE AND CASCADE!!! The pop up knee strike connects with the jaw of Nemesis.]

[Nemesis falls to the ground and as he does SHIDO immediately locks in ERA VULGARIS!! The big finishing submission maneuver! Nemesis screams with all his might as he kicks at the ground. The entire arena erupts as the referee looks on, not knowing what to do. Inch by inch Nemesis drags SHIDO across the ring until finally he is able to reach out with his foot and place it on the rope. Immediately the referee pulls SHIDO off of the submission.]

[Rolling out of the ring, Nemesis looks around the arena, his eyes wide open! The frustration in his facial expression is evident as he glances at referee inside of the ring, screaming in her direction! The fans begin to stand up now, their full attention on the action in the ring! Punching the mat, SHIDO slowly rises up once more. He looks around the ring, equal parts rage and desperation on his face! SHIDO leans against the ropes and catches his breath, wiping the blood out of his eyes. The fans cheer loudly, not so much out of support for SHIDO, but begging him to rise not wanting this match to end.]

[Nemesis slides into the ring and leans in the corner. SHIDO plants his boot and looks up at Nemesis who is still leaning on the turnbuckle post. Nemesis shouts at him and tells him to "stay down", but SHIDO slowly stands up tall and smiles!! Nemesis stumbles forward. SHIDO delivers a shin splintering kick to his legs, Nemesis shoves him  he bounce off of the ropes…ENOCH! NO! SHIDO COUNTERS! Bouncing of the ropes  and delivers MISFIT LOVE TO NEMESIS! He looks at Nemesis staring him down looking for the end…THE LIGHTS GO OUT!]

Dante Reed - What the fuck?! No...

Sebastian Riggs - What’s going on here?

[And once the lights turn back on Nemesis is no longer inside the ring laying…instead standing perched atop the turnbuckle. And surrounding SHIDO is the entire Salvation group. Tommy Crimson, Viduus Morta, Ragnarok, Alexander Devin, and the newly debuted Aiden Deimos begin to close in on SHIDO. The self-proclaimed “God” seeing the danger he is in as the group begins to beat him down in the center of the ring. The referee wastes little time and calls for the bell!]

[DING DING DING!]

Dante Reed - No! Are you kidding me?!

Sebastian Riggs - This is bullshit!

[Salvation continue to attack SHIDO as the referee exits the ring and heads over to the time keepers table. Mike Dempsey listens to the ref’s decision before making the announcement.]

Mike Dempsey - Ladies and gentlemen, Senior Official Bruce O’Neal has called an end to this match by the result of a no contest!

[The crowd erupts into boos by the decision and the sight of SHIDO trying to fight off the ambush attack. The ring begins to fill with beer cans and trash by the fans throwing anything they can at the group. Nemesis pulls off of the attack and taunts the crowd back on the turnbuckle, bringing the noise to deafening volumes. Suddenly, the crowd begins to roar as we focus to the ringside barricade… DICK DEVEREAUX!]

Dante Reed - It’s The Butcher of the Battleground!

Sebastian Riggs - Dick Devereaux has returned!

[Devereaux storms the ring and immediately shoves Nemesis to the floor off his perch. Climbing the rope he leaps through the air and delivers a double Homing Missle to Ragnarok and Viduus, sending both men out of the ring. He grabs the barbed wire bat and drives it into the abdomen of Tommy Crimson, sending him crashing to the mat and to the outside. Aiden Deimos tries to lock Devereaux in a sleeper, but Devereaux picks him up and drops with a Pipebomb! The backback stunner rocks Deimos as he tumbles out of the ring. The crowd is in pandemonium as Devereaux stands tall in the center of the ring!]

This Means War

[As the crowd continues to cheer on, Devereaux helps SHIDO up to his feet and the two are now surrounded by all of Salvation around the ring. Both Devereaux and SHIDO keep their head on a swivel for any sudden rush. Then, the arena lights drop to a near pitch black before being illuminated by a blue hue. A slow guitar twang riff begins to play and the main stage begins to permeate with fog.]

♫

THERE AIN’T NO GRAVE, CAN HOLD MY, BODY DOWN

THERE AIN’T NO GRAVE, CAN HOLD MY, BODY DOWN

WHEN I HEAR THAT TRUMPET SOUND

I’M GONNA RISE RIGHT OUTTA THE GROUND

THERE AIN’T NO GRAVE, CAN HOLD MY, BODY DOWN

♫

[The crowd roars in anticipation for the owner and promoter of Union Battleground, Axel Graves. After an intense pause, Graves finally makes his way out to the stage to a thunderous applause. However, he doesn’t come out here alone. Following a few steps behind is Elysium President Finale making his way to the stage! The two men are dressed to the nines with a microphone in hand. Steadily, the music fades out and the lights begin to shine as Graves looks out to ringside with an enraged look on his face.]

Axel Graves - You know... I like to think of myself as a pretty easy going man. I like to think of myself as a pretty reasonable boss. I mean hell, look at the show we put on here tonight! Where else are you going to find multiple world champions competing under one roof?

[The crowd cheers and a “Battleground” chant slowly picks up.]

Axel Graves - I’m a pretty relaxed guy when it comes to the traditional rules of professional wrestling too. I instruct my officials to not enforce count outs, I instruct them to allow competitors to use tables, ladders, chairs, fire extinguishers, barbed wire bats, or whatever the fuck they want! I want to see clear cut winners... But the one thing I hate more than anything else in this business, is a cowardice act of ganging up on someone! Nemesis, since the Fallout pay-per-view in April of last season, when Salvation was formed, these sneak attacks and slight of hand tricks have been a regular occurrence in my promotion. I even hired an enforcer to try and stop it, but unfortunately Nigel Crane couldn’t keep his nose clean in the bar scenes.

[Finale steps forward with a look of complete rage painting his face. The Elysium President takes a moment to compose himself before bringing the microphone to his lips.]

Finale - I want you motherfuckers to know that it is taking every ounce of restraint that I can muster not to walk down that ramp and show each and every one of you clowns exactly why they call me The Buffalo Butcher but I gave my word to Mr. Graves that I would act in a “presidential” manner. What you have been doing here in Union Battleground is of no concern to me. But then you Crimson, you crossed the line.

[Cut to Crimson with a smug smirk on his face.]

Finale - You came to Los Angeles in November and you kidnapped my brother Kelly Godless, the founder of Elysium Pro Wrestling. And for what? To prove your mettle to this gaggle of Juggalos? To try and kill Elysium in its infancy? Well that second part didn’t work out and now you have made enemies of not only me but the army that I have at my back. I know that you aren’t going to release my brother without a fight so that is exactly what you are going to fucking get.

Axel Graves - Salvation has been a cancer to this promotion, and it’s spreading rapidly. You grow in numbers at an alarming rate, and something has to be done about it. You declare that your mission is to burn Union Battleground to the ground and rebuild it in your image. Well let me tell you something, like the late Johnny Cash said, there ain’t no grave that can hold my body down! You want a war, YOU GOT A WAR!

[Graves slams the microphone down before his theme picks back up. He and Finale both shoot death stares down at the members of Salvation, showing no signs of fear.]

Dante Reed - What the fuck did I just see here?! Axel Graves and Elysium President Finale have declared war on Salvation! What does this mean?

Sebastian Riggs - I'm not quite sure, Dante. But I know that this will not end well! It seems that Mr. Graves is at the boiling point of Salvation's attempt at overthrowing this company. And I don't blame him! This is a family business!

Dante Reed - Folks, I don't know else to say about all of this, I'm sure we will know more as time goes on, but for now, we have a main event match-up to get to! Up next, it's Emery Layton versus Finn Whelan next!

Dante Reed- Welcome back to Crown of the King Cobra! Oh Boy, Sebastian… Oh Boy!

Sebastian Riggs- Dante is excited because up next we will have our main event of the evening.

Dante Reed- That’s right! We will see a new champion crowned tonight. The Crown of the King Cobra will have its first inaugural title holder. I can’t wait.

Sebastian Riggs- Both of the wrestlers vying for the opportunity here tonight are world champions in other promotions as well as one being a champion already in Union Battleground.

Dante Reed- That’s right, Riggs! Emery Layton is currently the Supreme XWA Champion and the Trench War Champion here in Union Battleground.

Sebastian Riggs- Finn Whelan on the other hand, is currently the WWH World Champion… I mean what else could we say, Ladies and Gentlemen? This match is for more than gold. It’s for supremacy.

Mike Dempsey- Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for tonight's main event! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the King Cobra Championship! Introducing first, standing 6'4" and weighing in at 202 pounds, from Seattle, Washington, he is the WWH World Champion, "The Seattle Saint" Finn Whelan!

[The lights dim in the arena and cast the arena in a red glow, and for a moment -- only a moment -- the crowd quiets down just a smidge. The guitar riff opening that carries throughout the rest of Asking Alexandria's "The Black" breaks out and brings the crowd to their feet -- both in a positive and negative reaction, completely mixed.]

FINISH ME, I'M FLOATING AWAY

THERE'S A DEMON STARING STRAIGHT THROUGH YOUR EYES

AM I WASTING MY TIME?

THERE'S SOMETHING STIRRING INSIDE OF ME

Sebastian Riggs- Whelan is as methodical as he is dangerous. He will be looking to put on a show here tonight.

Dante Reed- Emery always comes for a fight. Always.

Sebastian Riggs- As does Finn.

[Just before the first line of the song, Finn Whelan has appeared not from the curtain, but from one of the visitor's entrances. He stops at the top of the steps for a moment, a slight smirk on his face as he glances at the people around him. He begins stepping down the stairs at a brisk pace, high-fiving a couple fans as he makes his way down to the ring.]

Dante Reed- Both of these wrestlers have proven they deserve to be here in this match. These two are proven competitors who don't back down from a challenge, no matter how big or small. It doesn't get any better than this!

[At the barrier, he slings himself over and slides immediately underneath the bottom rope and leaps to his feet in the center of the ring. He heads directly for the ropes in front of him, and hops up onto the bottom one, bouncing slightly as he looks back at the crowd, choosing a few choice words to share with them. He drops down from it, and pulls off his vest as he heads to the his place against the turnbuckle, leaning into it as his music fades out.]

Sebastian Riggs- Whelan is ready to go. The crowd waits with real anticipation for this one.

Mike Dempsey- And his opponent, standing 5'6" and weighing in at 135 pounds, from Anywhere and Everywhere, she is your Union Battleground Trench War Champion, "The Worst of the Pavees" Emery Layton!

"IT DOESN'T HURT ME - YOU WANNA FEEL HOW IT FEELS?

YOU WANNA KNOW? KNOW THAT IT DOESN'T HURT ME?

YOU WANNA HEAR ABOUT THE DEAL I'M MAKING?

♫

Dante Reed- Layton has been unstoppable from last season till now. Anyone who gets in her way ends up losing in the end.

Sebastian Riggs- Emery could be meeting her match in the center of that ring here tonight.

[As "Running Up That Hill" by The Feud hits the PA system and light explodes to life, the excitement hits the air. The Worst of the Pavees herself- wearing her leather jacket and beanie over her gear and her Trench War Championship around her waist- emerges from behind the curtain, clearly impressed with the amount of people who have turned out. She's nodding her head, holding her arms out as she struts down the ramp and swaying her head to the beat of her entrance theme, her eyes closed. She's lost in the moment, there's nowhere else she'd rather be right now.]

Sebastian Riggs- All she does is win. They could rap about Emery Layton at Death Row Records all day if they wanted to.

Dante Reed- Death Row? Antiquated reference.

[Once she reaches the bottom of the ramp, she unclips her title from around her waist- holding it one hand as she pulls her beanie off and thrusts it into her pocket with the other, skating up the steel steps and climbing the turnbuckle. As the fans cheer, Em lifts the Trench War Championship into the air for all to see. Ooh, she's chuffed to even hold it in her hands. Once the eccentric Irish traveller has spent enough time up there, Emery leaps down from the top rope and into the ring, transitioning from that into probably the most graceful, crisp forward-roll you've ever seen. Once she's in there, she runs to the rope right behind her bouncing off it as she drops to her knees and skids forwards, as all the lights drop except a single spotlight on her and the lights from cell phone cameras as her upper body falls backwards and she holds the Trench War Championship up in the air with both arms right up. After a few moments of just simply listening to the cheers, she flips onto her front and crawls into her corner, removing her jacket and dumping the battered old thing to the outside as she sits down, legs flat out with the title now draped over her knees, waiting for the match to begin.]

Dante Reed- Emery Layton and Finn Whelan are now in the ring.

Sebastian Riggs- The referee holds the new Crown of the King Cobra title high into the air to show everyone what we are here for.

[The beautiful new championship belt is held up high by the ref briefly then handed off to a ring hand immediately. The referee looks at Finn in his corner and nods then over at Layton and does the same. He then calls for the bell.]

[DING!]

Sebastian Riggs- This one’s underway!

Dante Reed- Here. We. Go!

[Whelan springs at Layton in a full dash. The rapid fire punches and elbows show the spirit of a true fighter. Emery falls back to cover up and ends up in the corner. Finn gets her right where he wants her then leans back for a sharp knife edge chop!]

Dante Reed- Finn is rolling in the opening moments of this one!

[Finn catches Layton with another knife edge chop in the corner. She comes alive after the shot and pushes Whelan back! Emery then flies out of the corner to catch Whelan flush with a flying forearm smash! Finn hits the mat while Layton continues her momentum just behind him. She bounces of the ropes then comes up from behind Finn, who gets caught with a bulldog!]

Sebastian Riggs- Here comes Emery!

[Layton leaps to her feet then whips herself into the ropes again. Finn gets up slow but fast enough to get ahead of Emery. As she bounces off the ropes, Whelan leaps toward her taking Layton off her feet completely. The thesz press counter hits it’s mark and Finn ends up on top of Emery. He then begins throwing mounted shots at her, one after another!]

Dante Reed- Whelan is going to town!

[Layton situates her legs underneath Finn to knee him off! Whelan falls forward into the ropes allowing Emery the chance to escape. Layton gets back to her feet while Finn gets himself untangled in the ropes. He is slightly bent over leading Emery to rush at him! The shining wizard hits it’s mark on the unsuspecting WWH Champion.]

Sebastian Riggs- What a shot! Whelan bounces off the apron and now is on the outside of the ring.

Dante Reed- The referee comes in to begin his count.. but what is Layton doing?

[Emery stays next to the ropes and watches as Finn staggers to his feet on the outside. She leaps up on the ropes with cat like balance then dives off just as Whelan turns to face her. The springboard dropkick wows the crowd and nearly takes Finn’s head off.]

Dante Reed- Emery already taking high risks in this one.

Sebastian Riggs- That time it paid off.

[Whelan hits the outside floor after the impact. Emery tries to rile up the crowd then turns her focus right back to Finn. She grapples up the larger wrestler then attempts to irish whip him into the edge of the ring apron but he counters by holding on! Whelan then whips her into the apron back first! Layton holds her back in real pain while Finn recovers. The referee’s count reaches three when Whelan rolls his opponent back into the ring.]

Sebastian Riggs- Did you hear that impact?! Finn wanted to break the Trench War champions back with that one, Dante.

Dante Reed- Indeed. Whelan can counter and out wrestle anyone in this world.

[Finn slides in the ring underneath the bottom rope. To his surprise, Emery gets up then backs right into him as Whelan stands up. He hooks both on her arms behind her then spins both quickly away from the ropes. Finn tiger suplexes Layton over his head and bridges the maneuver into a pin!]

… One!

… Kick out!

Dante Reed- Emery kicks out at one then quickly gets back to her feet!

Sebastian Riggs- She’s caught Whelan off guard with her speed.

[Layton rolls to her feet after kicking out. Whelan goes to get up but she’s already on him with a spinning sole kick! Finn gets nailed while sitting on one knee and the shot takes him to the mat. Emery then hooks a leg!]

… One!

… Kick out!

[Whelan gets back to his feet quick as does Layton after the kick out. Emery runs full speed ahead at Finn then goes for a cross body dive! Whelan catches her! He then tosses her back over his head! Emery bounces off the mat after the counter.]

Sebastian Riggs- What a counter! Whelan continues to impress in this one.

[Finn gets to Layton just as she is sitting up. He then catches Emery with an overhead chop across the back of her head! She falls down face first flush against the mat. Whelan then takes hold of Laytons right arm then pulls it back to apply a crucifix armbar!]

Dante Reed- Whelan has got the arm bar locked in but they are pretty close to the ropes at the moment.

Sebastian Riggs- Layton reaches out with her left free arm but she is still a foot short of the ropes.

[The Trench War Champion writhes in pain on the mat while Finn continues to pull her arm back. Emery lunges her body forward but still is unable to reach the ropes. Whelan continues to punish her while the referee hovers to watch for a tag. He asks Emery which leads her to shake her head in complete defiance. Finn notices this and pulls her arm back even more!]

Sebastian Riggs- Whelan is trying to pull her arm off.

Dante Reed- It would be rather difficult to win this one with a missing limb.

[Emery lunges on her belly once more toward the safety of the bottom rope. Finally she manages to take hold with her free left hand. The referee comes in quickly to break up the two wrestling mega stars. He then sends each to opposite corners and checks on Layton briefly before resuming the match.]

Dante Reed- Rope break! Whelan held that on as long as he possibly could.

Sebastian Riggs- I would say the damage has been done.

[Emery holds her right arm for a moment then Whelan comes at her. As he reaches Layton, she catches him with a drop toe hold! Finn lands face first into the middle turnbuckle! The shot puts him in somewhat of a daze but he still manages to stand up. Emery comes up from behind him with a backstabber! She drives both of her knees into his back in a violent manner. She hooks a leg after both hit the mat!]

… One!

… Kick out!

Sebastian Riggs- Whelan kicks out at one! He refuses to stay down in this one.

Dante Reed- These are two of the most resilient wrestlers in the world, Riggs. They won’t quit until someone goes to sleep or dies one.

Sebastian Riggs- Damn.

[Layton gets back to her feet after Finn kicks out and quickly whips herself into the ropes. Whelan leaps to his feet but Emery catches him with a sudden swinging neckbreaker! She’s right back up and heads for the corner while Whelan attempts to get up. Layton gets to the corner then glides through the ropes. She grips the top rope in both hands then as Finn stands up, she leaps up on the top rope and balances herself. Whelan turns right into a springboard spike hurricanrana into a pin!]

… One!

… Two!

… Kick out!

Dante Reed- Whelan kicks out at two!

Sebastian Riggs- They both want to win. That is all that matters right now to either of them.

[Both wrestlers get get up and face each other. They begin to circle in some silent show of respect for each other’s game. Suddenly at the exact same moment, they both strike out at each other! They swing each other around the ring for supremacy that the larger Whelan wins decisively with a knee to the gut! Layton bends over so Finn cradles her up into a piledriver! He drives Emery’s head into the mat and she goes limp afterwards. Whelan pins both of her shoulders to the mat!]

… One!

… Two!

… Kick out!

Dante Reed- Finn almost got her! I can’t believe it!

Sebastian Riggs- He better stay on her because she’s already back up.

[Layton gets back to her feet then staggers at her opponent picking up more speed with each step. She reaches Finn, who spins around suddenly! The spinning backfist catches Emery in the throat and takes her off her feet completely. Layton rolls over onto her stomach to hold her throat attempting to catch her breath. Finn comes up from behind then jumps slightly. He brings his left heel down on the back of Layton’s head stomping it into the mat with real force! The sudden shot busts The Trench War Champions nose but Finn doesn’t go for a pin.]

Sebastian Riggs- Layton’s nose may be broken.

Dante Reed- It appears to only be busted but I am no doctor.

Sebastian Riggs- That’s a fact, what is Finn Whelan doing?

[Whelan backs away from his fallen opponent until his back touches a turnbuckle. He then turn and places his right foot on the middle turnbuckle to boost himself on up to the top one. Finn briefly looks back to see Layton now laying on her back breathing heavily. Whelan then leaps off backwards aiming for a moonsault but Emery rolls out of the way and out of the ring at the last possible moment! Finn crashes and burns on the mat. Miss!]

Dante Reed- Emery may have been playing possum there.

Sebastian Riggs- Either way that risk took all the wind out of Whelan’s sail momentarily.

[Layton circles the ring then slides in with the crowd behind her. She gets to her feet in the ring and shakes her right arm slightly, still ailing her after the armbar earlier. Whelan continues to roll around holding his rib cage for a moment before getting up to one knee with his back to Layton. Finn regains his bearings then immediately looks around for Emery. The Trench War Champion takes off as Finn stands up and turns around to look for her. She catches him with a sling blade! The maneuver slams Whelan to the mat.]

Sebastian Riggs- This match has been so closely contested. Both of these wrestlers continue to prove why they are where they are.

Dante Reed- I like that. Just vague enough for wrestling commentary. Layton’s on the move!

[Emery allows Finn to get up to one knee then comes flying in with a big time knee lift! He falls to the mat once more but Emery grapples him up. She then hooks both of his arms for a double underhook DDT! Layton leaps back to her feet the struts quickly to the corner. The crowd eats it up as she hops up on the middle turnbuckle then faces out at Whelan, who is laid out flat on his back. The Supreme XWA Champion dives off and hits Finn in the heart with an elbow drop! She follows up by hooking a leg.]

… One!

… Kick out!

Sebastian Riggs- Whelan’s will has no end.

[Whelan quickly rolls out of the ring using his veteran savvy. He stands out from where Dante and Sebastian are sitting in two chairs. The table was demolished in the battalions title match. Emery watches on from inside the ring then looks back behind her at the ropes. She then looks at Finn then bounces off ropes without hesitation. Layton speeds across the ring and as she reaches the opposite side of the ring she dives head first through the ropes right at Finn! Emery hits Whelan in the chest then sends him back toward the commentators. Finn backs right over Dante Reed then squashes him against the security barrier. Dante goes limp while Finn looks around to figure out what’s happened. Layton works up the crowd.]

Sebastian Riggs- Dante? Are you okay?

[The suicide dive did little damage to Finn due to Dante taking the brunt of the impact for him. The WWH World Champion then turns his focus back to Emery Layton while the referee begins his count.]

Sebastian Riggs- We need some medical help out here for my esteemed colleague.

[Finn rolls back in the ring after checking on Dante for a moment. Emery continues to work the crowd for a moment then rolls back in the ring herself. When Whelan rolled in he didn’t get up to his feet rather took a moment to catch his breath on his back. Emery walks over to Finn then bends down to grapple him up. As she does this, Whelan reaches up and quickly locks in the gogoplata! Whelan throws his head back as he applies more and more pressure.]

Sebastian Riggs- Whelan applies the Gogoplata! This could be it!

[Layton’s eyes widen while Whelan continues attempting to force her to tap. Emery reaches out with her right foot and touches the bottom rope! The referee comes in to break the hold. Finn abides the rules and does as the referee orders. The ringside Dr. has gotten Dante to come to and he’s wearing his headset again.]

Sebastian Riggs- Whelan locked in that hold a little too close to the ropes. Are you okay, Dante?

Dante Reed- What happened?

Sebastian Riggs- You got too close.

Dante Reed- Oh.

[Layton’s nose is stained with blood as is her upper lip. For the most part, the bleeding has stopped. Whelan and Emery are split up after the rope break. Whelan comes flying back in while Layton is bent over recovering in the corner. Finn nails her with a running knee in the side of the skull! The shot causes the entire front row to wince.]

Dante Reed- What a shot! The Trench War Champion is down.

Sebastian Riggs- Whelan is headed for the corner. He needs to pin after that hard lick he just dished out.

[Whelan hits the corner then climbs up on the middle turnbuckle to boost himself on up to the top. He then dives off aiming for Emery Layton! The senton bomb hits its mark!}

Sebastian Riggs- The Senton Bomb! Whelan is reaching deep into his bag of tricks.

[Finn quickly hooks a leg after the impressive high flying maneuver.]

… One!

… Two!

… Kick out!

Dante Reed- Close! Phew, that was so close.

Sebastian Riggs- Whelan appears to be a bit frustrated after that failed pin attempt.

[Layton gets back to her feet in somewhat of a daze. This leads Finn to shove her back! Layton lands into the ropes then comes forward with a nasty pendulum lariat. Whelan hits the mat in a pile while Emery wipes the blood from her nose.]

Sebastian Riggs- Babooshka!

[Layton quickly grapples Whelan up using all of her upper body strength to do so. She then irish whips her larger opponent into the corner with all she’s got! Finn hits the turnbuckle backfirst with real impact! Layton then comes flying in at Whelan with a elbow across the jaw! Finn nearly drops but Layton keeps him propped up in the corner and climbs up on the middle rope to straddle her opponent. She then performs a monkey flip! Whelan ends up on his back directly in front of Layton now. Emery gets alongside him then performs a crowd wowing standing senton moonsault! She pins both of Whelan’s shoulders flush against the mat.]

… One!

… Two!

… Kick out!

Dante Reed- What a maneuver! Whelan continues on however and Emery hasn’t had an answer for him in this one yet.

Sebastian Riggs- Yet. Key word.

[Emery gets up to her feet then goes right back after Finn, who trips her up! She falls forward and he takes hold of her right leg and applies a kneebar! He applies the hold on Layton in the center of the ring.]

Sebastian Riggs- She has nowhere to go this time!

[Whelan applies pressure while rocking his head forward then back. The crowd gets worked up with the intense situation. Layton tries to rock side to side to reach the ropes with no success to speak of.]

Dante Reed- This could be it. Whelan continues to use his holds to keep the pressure on in this one.

Sebastian Riggs- Emery is fading fast.

[Layton continues to reach for the ropes but still can’t reach. Whelan continues to put on the pressure with the knee bar. Emery twists her body left then right attempting to escape her opponent’s grasp. Suddenly she twists right and Whelan loses his grip just briefly allowing Emery to flip over and use her left leg to kick him in the face! The crowd pops.]

Sebastian Riggs- Layton Emery has freed herself but that knee is obviously bothering her now.

Dante Reed- That’s a fact.

[Layton gets to her feet while Whelan staggers to his. He comes up from behind the unsuspecting Emery suddenly. She can feel him near her and throws a spinning elbow! She catches Finn in his left eye socket! The solid shot sends Whelan back to the mat flat on his back. He holds his eye with one hand and the back of his head with the other. Emery shakes her left leg attempting in vain to brush off the damage inflicted by Finn’s kneebar.]

Sebastian Riggs- These two have gone at it this entire match. I have never seen another wrestler bring Layton to the limit like Finn Whelan has here tonight. He’s made me a believer.

Dante Reed- They aren’t done yet.

[A cut begins to bleed above Finn’s left eye. The eye itself appears to be blacking already. He tries to shake it off then staggers back up to his feet while Emery catches her own bearings in the corner across the ring. Blood trickles down the WWH World Champions face as he grins across the ring at Emery, who is now facing him. They take off at each other as the growing anticipation in the crowd finally explodes. Whelan lifts Emery up into the air then catches her for a violent european uppercut out of nowhere! Layton hits the mat in a pile while Finn staggers toward the corner. He climbs up on the middle turnbuckle then on up to the top. Whelan doesn’t realize that Emery has gotten up. Finn turns out to face the ring after reaching the top turnbuckle only to find Emery Layton! She leaps up on the turnbuckle before he can react. Emery then hooks Whelan for a beautiful top rope diving cutter!]

Dante Reed- The Prikasa!

Sebastian Riggs- WOW!

[Layton lands her signature maneuver then scoots over to Finn after the violent impact. She hooks his left leg then pulls it back to pin both shoulders snug against the mat. The referee drops alongside the two wrestlers to count!]

… One!

… Two!

… Three!

[DING! DING! DING!]

Mike Dempsey- Here is your winner and very first King Cobra Champion, EMERY LAYTON!

[Emery is handed both of her Union Battleground championships by the referee, who also helps her back up to her feet. Emery looks at her new Crown of the King Cobra strap over with love in her eyes. She then takes hold of it in her right hand and the Trench War championship in the other. Emery then holds both belts up high into the air to an adoring Union Battleground fanbase.]

Dante Reed- Emery Layton has done it! She’s now holding two major titles in Union Battleground.

Sebastian Riggs- Titles in which she was both the inaugural champion. Such an amazing feat in any case.

Dante Reed- Finn Whelan has nothing to be ashamed of. He did himself proud in this one.

Sebastian Riggs- That is a fact for sure. Finn just came up short against someone who has had her sights set on a moment like this since day one. Emery Layton right now sets the mark while the rest play catch up.

Dante Reed- I agree with that. That’s it for us, Ladies and Gentlemen! Thank you for joining us for Crown of the King Cobra! Congratulations to the new champion and good night!
